    I saw I had some sound problems on twitch(it worked great on ustream though) but if you missed it you can view it here

    I played the game 3 times during the broadcast the last time was at the end scoring 600pts. (the last game for the season is Strip Off, its like the reverse of the death star scene star wars:death star battle) will announce the final round on June 12th

    Tonight (Tuesday) at 7PM PT/10PM ET I'll be gunning for the high scores for A-VCS-Tech Challenge on the ZeroPage Homebrew Twitch stream (link below) for both A & B settings!

     

    Those are some top scores to try and beat but I'll give it a shot. :-)

    he scored 2,930 last night on the B setting

    4,620 on A setting for bonus points.

    there is no rankings for bonus points so just a score will give you 4 bonus point

    Scores will be updated on saturday.

    heads up: you might want to to watch my next AVC Live podcast on the 9th as I will be announcing the final game for this seasons Harmony Games(as well as doing a live game play
    something I haven't done for years when I did AVC Online game of the month when I had tv turner card in my pc,this time though it will be done via a web cam.) the last round doesn't start until the 13th though so this will give you some practice time before the round starts.

    sounds like fun, I'll be in for it you should let zero page homebrew know as well they can show a game on their twitch channel like they did for my harmony games (I'll be do games on my AVC Live podcast starting with june,it will be on camera not via connected to tv tuner card like I did in my early days of podcast)

    dang, that doesn't even meet the 200$ mark on cheap laptops

     

    I mean here's a dell at bestbuy, a place that has rent to pay and its about the same, I will give that it's only an R6 ... but its also 129 bucks WITH a screen

     

    for the money they want you could buy a bottom of the line ryzen, hook it up to the tv and still stomp the shit out of the bawx

    I have agree with the specs are similar the convertible pc

    as for 5x7 score: we have to disallow it because due to
    an error on my part the difficulty setting was supped to be on b and the
    instructions say a which I got from the developers site. he is welcome to try again with the right settings.

    Usually I try to post this early but figured to wait until we a good amount news for it.

    Video Game Summit returns to The Odeum Expo Center, in Villa Park,,IL on July 14th,2018 from 10am-6pm (with Early Admission starting at 9:30am)

    Admission to the show is 10.00 regular admission and 15.00 for early admission.
    Special guest include Brain Collin, Mike Thommason,Brad Nelson and Andy Bryer
    Galloping ghost will be at hand as well as we will have arcades at show as well.

    A bit late but first thanks to clint,john and racer x for doing Jagfest at MGC, I would have loved to come and helped but stuff happens.
    now on to other news: for at least my own show Video Game Summit, I have deiced to step down from bringing my jaguar and be part of Jagfest @VGS
    I am more focused on the Harmony games at my show then Jagfest as it was basically me for some time early on had some help but lately its been me,
    that and I only have one Jaguar figured to leave it home for my show instead bring my spare 7800 and my one jag.

    Jagfest will still go on I passed jagfest down to one my other staff people who is working on nba jam te tournament for the show as well as other games.
    since our space is small we can't really do the section good but we are still looking for helpers for the jagfest might be able use one table since its 8ft can easy fit 3 to systems and prob 3 or 4 tvs
    send me a pm and I'll get you in touch with the person.

    Thanks for the mention Arenafoot! We'll be talking about Round 4 of the Harmony Games tomorrow on the show as we play A-VCS-tec Challenge for not only a place in this round but also the world record on highscore.com! I loved playing this game on the C=64 back in the day. :-)

    Time for Round 4 of the Harmony Games.
    This Round game is A-VCS tec Challenge

    We will be using Gauntlet mode setting(easy difficult setting on A)
    here are controls:

    General Game Controls

    • You play the game using a joystick plugged into the left controller port.

    • Pressing the fire-button starts a new game, starts each new level and aborts the Game-Over screen.

    • You can choose to play a "Gauntlet" only game or a game with "Gauntlet" and "Stairs" levels with the left difficulty switch (easy / hard).

    • Using the right difficulty you can choose in-game music or sound-effects (easy = music, hard = sound-effects). The intro and game over screens always play the music.

    • The Reset-Switch aborts the current game and resets the game to the introduction sequence.

    "Gauntlet" Controls

    • You either have to jump over spears or duck under them by pressing the joystick up or down.

    • Staying in duck mode for too long will cause you to fall. And falling means failing. ;-)

    Point scoring: top 10: 10 (for first) to 2(for tenth) 1 for everybody after 10

    (you can play using Harmony, actual cart or emulator.)

    Once again Arernafoot has won the round he has the option to choose the next game for
    round 4 or have the second place winner pick it next round will start May 14th at noon end on June 12th at 1pm
    Games have to homebrews(or functional hacks)
    *side note: round 5 will the final for the season and I will announce that game my self it starts on June 13th(my b-day) and end on July 14th(date of VGS as this game will also be played at the show)

    Weill update website and post on avc forum later today.
