  1. I went to the show last year, it was pretty fun although I had to keep am eye on the jagfest section mostly. I am planning to go again this year but my boss is giving me some heat about being a holiday week(which it is not but more likely a week before memorial day ) try to be there by hook or crook
  2. just letting you know that I updated the VGS site just abit: added a button to another chat room for VGS chats (the chats are now held on two days(this because my schedule is a bit off on sundays (usally I'm off but it now varries)Sundays at the atari hangout chat room: time varies (check the vgs site (ticker) on thursday nights around 6pmct for time) and on Weds at the Play and View chat room from 7pm til 9pmct) if anybody needs a table please let me know.
  3. I would to go to Philly classic but I'm sticking to central region for now(unless CGE is in vegas then I might be going there, AGE'04 is also a maybe depends on date) I'll be heading for MGC (inky, not going to be at VGS'04 )
  4. Jesse, OH ok didn't know thats why you did that. as for the report I just got it about 2 weeks ago from brad I just forgot to mention it before when I put it up. and I know what you mean I couldn't do much at my show either for the same reasons you mentioned hopefully this year will be better for me.
  5. OK me bad, jesse thanks for clearing that up Also if you notice in that post I put which meant check with you because I'm not sure about it. (speaking OKGE 2003: I got the report from Brad up on 2003 AVC/JCU tour page incase anybody is interested in seeing it)
  6. Has there ever been a Jag event in the Lower Michigan, USA area? Any chance that there may be one some day? Or, at least, where would the closest one be to me? If there was one close to me, I'd even help with the organization, if I could. we had one in IL,MN, and WI(and IL and WI agin for the tour stops) for more information on jagfest (or to join the mailing list) visit The Jagfest website
  7. That's cool. I don't mind including ones that may not happen this year. At least the reader can check out the website. As for the chat room, I don't think it gets much use, but people are welcome to use it anytime. Ok, I'll keep your chat room listed on the meetings page (no time mentioned though) I only times for chats I know is scheduled.
  8. greg, looks good to me jesse told me that OKGE won't be happening this year though(you might want to conatct him to find out) As for Jagfest we are planning on doing the tour once again, plus there might be some smaller Jagfest gatherings be planned. (is anybody still using your chat room? ,I am asking because I want update the meetings page at AVC Online (Planning on adding a new chat to it) )
  9. I saw them posted on the newsgroups. it will be cool to have a reto mag out. (I e-mailed them asking them if they would like to attend VGS'04)
  10. Fear not: the US Jagfest team is also figuring out plans for 2004 we just didn't get enough input for it yet.
  11. I know, but thought it was worth a mention anyways I heard about a gathering happening in MI I think either tomarrow or sunday at pinball petes here the link from DP: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic....=asc&highlight= In case anybody in MI is intrested
  12. We did forget one gathering (not a convention though) in IL that only some of elete people do go to every summer : Sean kellys Chi- town classic. they used meet in Sean's backyard to swap game and stories and hang. now they hang out in sean's new store in norridge (harwood heights) area (Video games ETC) and swap games and stories. I would ask Joe from DP about this though.(I always wanted to go but never knew when or where)
  13. thanks for the small plug Dan L VGS is July 17th,2004 in lombard ,IL (right off the expressway) the is show is billed as a Video game and computer trade show. the VGS site is at http://avc.atari-users.net/Events/FestVGS.html The show is not far from MI. 16. the flash is at the beginingof the dragonball and the beyblade game comercials but it's at the end of the backyard sports game comericals. I think the comericals are cool it's great to see Atari back in limelight even though it's for other systems. kind of reminds me of the old days when we saw Atari on TV in 70's before xmas.
  17. quick notice: I'm working on sunday til 2:30pm so if you go the chat expecting to see me, I won't be online until 3pm. On a side note: just wondering who is going be attending this years show(yes, it's 2004 so now I can say this year)
  18. theres also a site called Jag top 50 that has high scores http://www.angelfire.com/nv/jaguartop50/ it hasn't been updated lately though.
  19. when I was younger thats what I've been getting for every xmas: Video games and star wars figures. in fact I got the 2600 for xmas when it first came out the same is said for the 7800 and the Lynx(the jaguar I had to but for myself) Dan Iacovelli
  20. I voted for my hack, because to quote Chevy chase "hehehe I Like it" but really I did notice that some people liked it as well when it was first done. and I think it deserves a chance. Dan Iacovelli
  21. Just a bump to remind people about the chat tommarow Dan Iacovelli
  22. To anybody who is interested in attending VGS'04: Join me for our first of many VGS net meetings(chats) at http://www.jrthompson.org/atari/ on Friday Dec 26th,2003 from 4pm CT till 9pmct(it might go longer). We will talk about ideas for the game room, A safariland side trip after the show (also let me know if your coming or need a table at the chat) Hope to see you at the chat. Dan Iacovelli
  23. I think most of the hacks here are done with HOM(Hack-o-Matic) then there are some who more expirenced with 2600 programing so they just do staright. there was also a program by Laz called "Atari Hacking for Dummies" I used that for my keystone kappers hack unforately you can't do too much with AHD because you don't get all the games just some of it.
