  8. Russ, I hear you, I do most of the the atari zone on my own right now (I remember when I had lots of help especialy from jeff adkins when I started going national ) at times I too thought about giving up but I figured to continue it and since I convert the doc file to PDF first and post on my website before the print get sent out (which doesn't have many subrcribers as we did when before (back in the late 80's we had 30+ and for every one we lose we gain two more, but now it down to 9 (the JCU list isn't counting in that plus we also have those who get the pdf e-mail them) so what ever you decide russ, I support you. Dan Iacovelli

  15. the way I haerd it that atari pulled the plug on TT because it looked more like a game for 16-bit game then 64-bit game graphics wise that is. I don't remember if they did sent it back to have it reworked on though. Dan Iacovelli
  16. quick update: I got a call from the hotel 3 days ago,but I was at work so I have to conatct them on tuesday (so far it does look good for now) Dan Iacovelli
  17. correct me if I'm wrong don't most of the hacks now in days have to get premission from the orginal creator of the game for the hack to released in carts(I think that what hapened at hozer ) when you say hacks that released, you do mean in cart form right and not just in rom for emulator use. (It does mention rom form in the stan awards page) Dan Iacovelli
  18. I kind like the stan awards (Awards for game programing and such sounds cool) a question about the hack awards: is for hacks listed in the hack section of AA, hacks that have been made into carts, or is it hacks in general (I know my first hack laserman2k3 haven't been listed in the hack section but it's in the hack forum(no I wasn't plugging for my hack, just currious)) Dan Iacovelli
  19. This is an unoffical heads up: As of yet I haven't heard back from the hotel(I do plan on faxing them some time next week to see if the rooms are available) I have decided to start accepting payments for tables anyways. Tables are !5.00 each(General admission is free ) Payments can be done online via pay pal (only if its funded by a bank account or if you have funds in the account already) or by check or money order. If you do plan on having table(s) at the show: please use the form to at VGS Website so I can send you the VGS Tables E-vite that will allow you to pay online(it also tells you how to pay by check or money order) (you can also use the form to if you just plan to attend the show I'll send you a regular E-vite that don't ask for payments) Again when I get the date set I'll make the offical PR about every thing. Visit the VGS website: http://avc.atari-users.net/Events/FestVGS.html Dan Iacovelli
  20. how about The best of Atari Times (or The best of Times) just my two cents. Dan Iacovelli
  21. I was just wondering if the hacks that was posted in the hacks forum will be added to the hack section as well. Dan Iacovelli
  22. to anybody who used the form: please do it again. the results got put in my bulk mail folder at yahoo and lately I have been getting that spam virius which goes ends up there and I ended up cleaning it up daily. (you can also e-mail me with the general information too and I'll be glad to send you the e-vite) Dan Iacovelli
