  1. the hack sounds good to me. kind of reminded me of an idea I had some time ago to hack a wrestling game on the 2600 to resemble a local Wrestling promation here in IL. Dan Iacovelli
  2. I think that is a plug but yes there some plans going in my head for VGS'04 can't say now(Theres been talk about moving to another location but I don't thinks it's possible right now(we agoing be adding an extra room for a game room) Dan Iacovelli

  4. I hope you guys do well at this show. Also be sure to stop by Brad P's table and ask him about AVC/JCU as he will be representing AVC/JCU at the show. Dan Iacovelli
  5. I wish I can go but I have to wait and see how my job is next year (our contract is still day by day, and we still didn't get sold) besides that I might have plans to attend AGE next year,(I know I'll prob be able to make it to MWC and VGS ) Dan Iacovelli
  6. I just updated The VGS website: I announced the tenative date on the page, I changed the main graphic banner(using clip art and graphics of AVC,Jagfest on tour and the VGS graphic. I also changed the word art graphic of Video Game Summit. I took out the pdf link to the pdf Pr's(I'm only going to do it in txt form now) the VGS information form is now just a basic form(this is also up at the site) this way I can I send e-vites to the person and he/she can use the E-vite to confirm their attendance. (I plan on contacting the hotel some time this month to see if the july date is available if it is I will announce it offically). Dan Iacovelli (If you go to the DP forums, some body just posted in the events gatherings topic about having a gathering in IL (ironicly that how VGS got started by a post by inky here in AA about a year ago)
  7. If your going to be haeding down to OKGE this month make sure you stop by Brad Prillwitz table and ask him about AVC/JCU because Brad will be representing AVC/JCU at the show. (We are also one of the sponsors of OKGE) Dan Iacovelli
  8. I agree that it runs too slow. I'll stick with mess until the new vj get more speed. Dan Iacovelli
  9. Just to let you know, that AVC/JCU will start working on it's final Jagfest issue this week. This issue will have reports from Jagfest past and present. As well some reviews from past issues and photos from Fests. If you have attened any of Jagfest events and have some thoughts you like mentioned in the issue feel free to e-mail me. (same goes for pictures) Thank you Dan Iacovelli AVC/JCU chairperson
  10. yeah it's been slow today. I even thried to do the alter ego thing and I didn't get a conformation e-mail from them. Dan Iacovelli
  11. I got one of those space age joysticks they are pretty good . (if you went to VGS you would have ssen it in action because I brought it to the show along with a wico joystick) Dan Iacovelli
  12. Dave, I hope yo have good luck at your show next month. (theres a chance I might be able to go (I don't have a commordore ,but I would like to see another show)) Dan Iacovelli
  13. Yep, they did as I stated in my post. Telegames, B&C, and Intellivision took them. Mendon my bad, I didn't read that sorry about that. Dan Iacovelli
  14. I have a double ender ( a rare one I might add) Ghost manner/ Chuck norris superkicks. Dan Iacovelli
  15. As I stated in another post, this was my big complaint about the show. Being a first time attendee, I had no idea that barely any of the vendors took credit cards. Telegames, B&C, and Intellivision did but that was about all I found. I went down to an ATM to draw out cash on my CC and the fee was astronomical so I passed on that. Vendors lost several hundred dollars in sales to me because they wouldn't take credit cards. Not sure why they didn't; maybe the hotel charges too much for phone connections or something. But I'm sure that vendors would have increased sales dramatically if they accepted them. Mendon I thought that telegames took credit cards at the show they did in 2k and 2k2. Dan Iacovelli
  16. Carl, thanks for doing the report. (seemes like Jagfest at AGE went better the other tour stops) anyways, I'll be adding your report to the final jagfest issue. Dan Iacovelli (to anybody if you want your pics from CGE to be included the jagfest issue let me know so I can add them)
  17. I brought my 2600 supercharger from them came one day after I got the stella CD. Dan Iacovelli
  18. they were doing service maintance on that day I believe. Dan Iacovelli
  19. My understanding was that it was called off this year period because one of the main organizers is off in Afghanistan or Iraq. marrty, I think your mean CCAG, there was going a one his year but Tom got called to duty so it got postponed until next year. Dan Iacovelli
  20. actually distella has been updated already so if your going to upadte it more, you should contact the people mentioned above. Dan Iacovelli
  21. ok this will be my last post on this subject since I figured joe and CGE gang are dead set on moving CGE. I've been to vegas about so many times and noticed that almost every place (hotels and other wise) have an atm in it. I haven't been to california but since gambling isn't legal in california I would figure the number of ATM's is smaller then the ones in vegas. Again I am not aginst the move, as long it's for the good of the show. And let me say that AVC/JCU does support any gaming event (we do put listings in the fanzine of any show that we know about( we just have to know about it about a month before the show so it can listed on time(that explains why AGE wasn't listed) Dan Iacovelli
  22. that sounds good greg about having distella also decode the program with hom2 because it can also help with graphics ,color and also sound . Dan Iacovelli
  23. while laughlin is more downscaled from the main strip it still has good points to it besides the casinos. it's basicly more family orinated then vegas is. anyways: I'm not against cge moving to California if it's for the good of the show. (the one main problem I do see, is the vendors: since I know that most of the vendors doesnt take credit cards,(telegames is basicly the only vendor that does) it will be hard for visitors to get extra money since california doesn't have a ATM alomost every place like vegas does) my two 1/2 cents. Dan Iacovelli
  24. Sams town is right off the strip and freemont street so that will also be a good place for it. Dan Iacovelli
