  2. well thanks to AHD I have compleated my first Hack. Gameplay is still the same as Keystone Kapers:collect certine objects and watch for others to catch crook. but the now the objects are changed: Radio is now a bomb(with a lit fuse), the breif case is now a gun(a bad look one though sorry), carts are now small robots, the gold bag is changed just a bit(I couldn't get to look like a bomb was too hard) and one important thing the jet plane is now a low flying missile. (the ball is also changed into a skull and crossbones) I trimed down the krook(who is now known as dr X) and the kop (who is now known as of course laserman .(I also changed the hats too) the zipped rom is attched(I'll get some pics of the game later on) Dan Iacovelli laserman.zip
  3. heres what I got from the translostor(wordlingo): They are 0 questions. When Jagfest2004 in JAPAN it holds, we would like to go, is? Well, that thinking, whether well, about July in about September the Japanese somewhere whether also it is funny to try doing, the る it is, but how probably will be? It sells, at the small meeting place, what in large quantities being, with thinking, whether also it is good to try putting emphasis to the exhibition and play, even when without, it increases. Well, the method which can sell on the spot the Jaguar software demands? However the り so is, don't you think? (^ ^ Dan Iacovelli
  4. since inky has asked this question so many times I figured to start this topic off. either be safariland(see my post under who going to Video Game Summit) or just for burgers or whatever? please reply here with your choice. Dan Iacovelli
  5. Just a quick update on the package deal from safariland: they gave us three to choice from: #1 $12.00 Per Person Bowling & Shoe Rental Go-Karts $5.00 Game Card Pizza & Beverage * --------------------------- Package # 2 $10.00 Per Person Roller Coaster Ride Tilt-A Whirl Ride $5.00 Game Card Pizza & Beverage* -------------------- Package # 3 $9.00 Per Person Bowling & Shoe Rental $5.00 Game Card Pizza & Beverage * ------------------------------ • Pizza’s come with the choice of one topping. Additional toppings may be added for $1.00 per pizza. • Groups will have the option to choose two different beverages from our soda & juice fountain. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now I think # 3 is best deal to go for. if others want to to go for rides they can pay for them selves. ( I need a min. of 15 people though. they also say it intended for non-profit organazations, but for us they might let it slide) I'm going to post a new topic about going our after the show so I could get a better idea.(there also other places near there if we just ant to go for burgers or such) Dan Iacovelli

  10. safariland is sort of like chuck e Cheese and enchanted castle but a bit better. here is a url of the place in villa park,IL: http://www.invillapark.com/biz/safari.htm I'm going to call the place today to find out some details about the package deal. Dan Iacovelli
  11. inky you haven't been reading the e-mails from the vgs lists or my post in the vgs topic in the events. I'm working on details to have people come to safariland (down the street from the hotel) after the show. Dan Iacovelli
  12. I'm hoping for 40+ to come so it can make uu for the cost of the room. currently hotel rates are: 79.00 per night(standard)or 71.00 (internet specails). I do not have a deal with the hotel for rooms but I do keep an eye on it every month to see what they are. Dan Iacovelli
  13. I was wondering when this who thing was announced back in october 2002 that this was being planned we got alot of input. but now it coming down to the last weeks and now I see that interest has died to nill. (I'm still going on with it, just want to know who else besides me,inky and bohus are going be there(rob M. what about gravity ball I saw the demo of it at MWC(yes I was there) will be able to see it at VGS). Dan Iacovelli
  14. Can't wait to see it! Regards, and have fun, Lazzeri let me say this you will notice a big a change in the game. Dan Iacovelli
  15. let me say this about AHD: I like it. I've been hacking keystone kappers and it's coming along nicely (still have few bugs in it though, but when it done I'll post my hack) Dan Iacovelli
  16. I used to have my orignal 2600 hooked up to 19inch b/w Quasar TV(or was it a zeinth can rember) Dan Iacovelli
  17. Paolo, that report was done by memoery. plus I didn't want it all to be about the jagfest section. as for the pics: I didn't bring my camera (I was going to but I figured since I had to stay by the jagfest section to show off the games and such I woudn't be able to take pics(this won't happen at VGS though ) btw: didn't goodwill hunter(I think thats his name) post pics of MWC up at this fourm a while back. Dan Iacovelli ps. as for attendance I figure close to 50+ they had(it was hard to determine since most of the tables were in mix layout)
  18. sounds like you guys had fun. can I use either of the reports for the atari zone fanzine as well include it in the final jagfest issue? (e-mail me your reply) Dan Iacovelli
  19. another addition to the sponsor list(just added today): Video Game Connection from Cleveland,Ohio they are putting a 1/2 page ad in the program. http://videogameconnection.com Dan Iacovelli
  20. Unlikely, and I really don't want to scare people away from attending next year's show. There will be no "Family Ties" music at AGE, especially any that involves a singing role on my part. ..Al even though I'm not going to be going to AGE, but how about using one of Weird Al's new songs for theme music. Dan Iacovelli
  21. well, I think that most of us on the board are fimilar with distella and 2600 programing that it won't be hard to change the color. (the only programs that will be hard too is the bins that 8k or more since distella only works with 2 and 4k bins) Dan Iacovelli
  22. Just added to sponsor list: Safariland amusement place in villa park,il they are going be putting a full page Ad in the program and I'm going to call them next week to work out the details for a program for people at the show to come to sarfiland after words. The fun keeps on going after the show Dan Iacovelli
  23. ok, works pretty good just tried it keystone kapers love the editing sprites thing. one question though: no way to change the color of the sprite your editing? I notice that the color of the sprite you match(ie the cop hat is black and if you add to it it will match that color). but so far it's works ok. Dan Iacovelli ps. hack o matic would be good for the playfield only and then edit the sprites using your program it will make a good combo.
  24. I just put up a Pr about putting Ad's in the VGS program at the VGS website.(I didn't really want to post here because it doesn't matter here but figured to post a mention about it). Dan Iacovelli (look for announcemt about VGS happenings(inlcuding a new type of quiz show I'm planning to do for the show) in few weeks.
  25. so you can only hack bins that have AHD files. is there a way to make AHD files. Dan Iacovelli (at least I still have hackomatic that works pretty well)
