thanks to all who have came and supported the show had another great turn out, we are planning to do a State of VGS address on august 19th at our ustream channel (ustream.tv/channel/avc-live-podcast) around 11am

Harmony games at VGS was great the fun continues tomorrow here and on avc online forum(will post the rules and link to rom then on anew thread)

its almost time only 3 days, VIP admission registration ended last night now only accepting General admission(yes we will have admission at the door) and we have sold out on vendor space.

ahh ok thanks, I i brought a game from them at CGE once, they wouldn't accept coupon card that was being handed out.

thought atariguide.com and atari2600.com are two different sites

in case you missed it the first game for the 2017 Harmony Games will be DK VCS(aka Donkey Kong VCS) games being on the 29th at VGS'17 and online (here on atariage and our forum) will announce full details a day before the show in a new thread

I agree seagulls are well worth it, I got a pair for my 7800 works great (will have them in use for VGS17 as well with selected 7800 games as well for the harmony game I'll be using for 2600 game via harmony cart)

we are less then 30 days away from the show, we will be announcing the game area and the harmony game for 2017 on the july 15th podcast. we are also 10 booths away from another sell out(2 of the 10 are reserved) we will be releasing the 2017 poster after the holiday weekend. Still plenty of early admission VIP tickets available.

well thats sucks,would have been cool to have a sven rom to play on the 7800 or on emu. as to your question about other sven merch out there not done by metv, the early red t-shirts with the original svengollie on it comes to mind, some people try to make it re-sell it off as official merch. there are prob other un-offical sven merch as well I don't know about. but the red shirt is the one gets most attention.

hope you do get green lighted for the carts, would be cool to have if not you can prob just release the rom for free and if and when the 7800 sd cart come out pleople can play on real system then on a emu. I have Seagull adpaters for my 7800 and have no problems with 2 button games like pole position 2 or xevious

there were two koz zones on ch dirty two: the afternoon one was kids cartoon block hosted by rich the latenight one which seen after MASH was hosted by rich as well but for a while it was known as a satellite break in show, or pirate show with rich showing movies having his eyes black barred(he played the tv channel head kryzon as well) later on it it was known as the koz zone, it eventually ended right after he aired the nut cracker movie. and for those who don't know full history of sven look up on youtube the song "stop calling him the sun" goes through the whole show history from jerry g to rich koz in sos days, the shows end on 32 and the start on the U.

WCIU is chicago only metv on the other hand is national

they still need permission from either metv and.or sven to produce the carts for sale

doesn't hurt to send to both sven and metv to be on the safe side

very sad news, he was always so great to see at cge in the past always full of fun. he will be missed in the gaming community

I think metv owns the name as well, but it was cool you can do that for him,I saw your post about fat axl noticed it said not to use genisis controllers, what if they are used with seagull adapter?

sites is still down, we do plan to move both AVC Online and VGS sites to godaddy prob right after vgs(AVC Online maybe after that)

Website Update: due to Atari-users.net domain expired at end of April, Both AVC Online and the Video Game Summit websites are down. We do have a Basic site at Angelfire for Video Game Summit which can be found at http://avc.videogamesummit.net As for AVC Online, that will be down for now as we don't have a basic site up for maybe next year. if AUN isn't going be renewed we will look into another location for the site for word press site for VGS(either freesite which will keep the Sponsorship fees the same or a pay site which would in fact raise the sponsorship) this won't happen till next year. On another note we will have a podcast at ustream.tv/channel/avc-live-podcast on may13th (we will record it at 11am central and then stream it at 1pm central) during that time we will answer tweets at #VideoGameSummit or #AVCOnline (as well as on our facebbok page or group as well for VGS)

Well Jagfest at MGC was a bust, we still have time for VGS though. Also I had been requested to have a Jagfest Section at Missouri Game Con in St.louis(yes the home of the final stand alone jagfest (jagfest 2k2 the one I consider a frailer)) I can't make it but if anybody is willing to represent Jagfest there send me a Pm. make sure you let me know which show you can help with and I'll get back to you

We just announced Turbofest games for this year event check the website we also plan to make a major announcement tomorrow for the show. Don't ask about harmony games yet only I know what it is,but we don't plan to announce until a week before the show.
