  1. We're About a month away from the show, and we have 11 tables still available(well its like 7 because 2 are being paid at the show and 2 are reserved awaiting payment) went to see the odeum very big room, vendors got an e-mail of the video as well as those who registered and it its on our facebook group as well. will have more details on tonights podcast (last one before the show)
  2. we still have plenty of tables open book now before they go. we are still working on going for site inspection(I know it was supposed to be done before hand, but they sent the layout and power outline which is helpful, but there is still some thing we need to see for ourselves and ask few other stuff)
  3. added new support chat to our contact page, our old one which was the shoutbox is no longer up.
  4. at least hes not candy corn http://www.cc.com/video-clips/zsz1so/shorties-watchin--shorties-candy-corn
  5. 6. I have nothing against big shows like CGE,MGC,Etc.. I would love have VGS grow as big those, but it cost major bucks to grow that big and that also means booths would also be higher because the vendor fees is what actually covers the cost of the show. the odeum is costing me 1500 comapred to at the heron where it only 1/2 that in order have real big I see it costing way over 2000. the tent mgc uses cost as much as new car.
  7. yes we have 40 spots but few of them do take up two or more tables, plus we do havea gaming area with tournaments as well. CoCO Fest was in the same venue where VGS and the commodore show was, which I don't how that is possible since heron and faireild management split and they told us they wasn't going rent out the heron, unless coco fest is actually leasing the space from the heron.
  8. smaller then mgc, but we get great crowds, remember every big show started out small mgc started as atari jaguar festival in 2001
  9. there's always few more down the road I'm running one in IL in July
  10. yeah the auction is more for pinball then what cge does which every little thing.
  11. I think we all know that was joke done windy gaming, since we already know Al has the tooling modes, how much I bet you coleco is going go after them for using their name.
  12. loved the book, d/l browsed through it good read.
  13. you mean rick weis, yes this is the first time prge will be at mgc. Prge usually shows up at cge mostly among other shows.
  14. nathun nailed it, mike had no idea what going on which is why as rayik said no direct answers to questions because mike don't know the answer.
  15. I am just glad this whole fiasco is done as leods said, the shell tooling is in good hands with Al, what he will do with them who knows. I knew mike from the hey days of chase the chuck wagon, before it changed to game gavel and he was a great guy. there are scammers all over the place and its too bad that mike was the one got hit, those of who pledged got our money back so I have no reason to complain. its best thing to get things in writing before handing out money for any project, and to me it seems mike didn't do that and he just did it verbal, which won't hold up in court.
  16. there some places that won't take credit cards for payments and only accept cash or checks like the venue where VGS is at this year they only accept checks
  17. that makes seance he prob did blacken out the address or acct number
  18. Wow mike thats pretty long winded story. I think that its bad that he got gyped by that sean guy was his own fault being too trusty. first and important rule of business, is trust no one, if a person is working on product for you you have to insist and seeing progress work and talk in person. As well as do a background check on the person before handing out cash. heres a question what will Atari age do with the jag tooling, is it just the cart shells or is both the console and shells, its obvoius they can prod do cart shells for new jag homebrews but I don't know about the console shell.
