I don’t frequent the forums much mostly due to the lack of time and obligations, but I was given a heads up about this and feel that I should sound off. First off, these are homebrews and while we try to come as close to a professional commercial release, they are not, hence the name “homebrew.” A different type of labeling system was used for these releases upon a recommendation of a customer and it turns out that the glue is not a good as what we have used in the past. Now we know and are returning to the past labeling procedure, so a temporary issue and problem solved. Good Deal Games and Homebrew Heaven are hobbyist run operations. All on a volunteer basis and no one here has ever been paid in almost two decades of operation. All income goes directly to operate the organization and release the next project that we believe in and want to support. We do this for the love of the hobby. Since it is all done in our free time, we do not have the luxury of having it the way we would like. I would love to have screenshots and videos of the 400+ games we deal with. Frankly, it took years just to move from text listings to having box/cartridge images with a description. Because of this, we have always had a FULL REFUND policy that if a homebrew game is purchased, a full refund is awarded if you are not happy with the product. So, there is no risk when dealing with us and we have a proven track record consistent for eighteen years. I also want to state that the feedback for Sunset Drive and the others have been very positive. Let's stop with the "insect politics," remember why we are here, play some games and have some fun :-) Sincerely, Michael of GDG’s Homebrew Heaven

Hello, we are finally starting to phase out our old RETAIL games. What does not sell will be going to another dealer, as we will be going "Homebrew ONLY." So, this is probably your last time to grab these games. Most stock is a single copy, so act fast. As a thank you for supporting us over the last two decades, for every $100 you spend, you'll get an additional $30 more in free games. For example, pick out $130 in games and only pay $100. Pick out $260 in games and only pay $200, et cetera. You'll note that MOST of the PSOne, PS2, Sega Dreamcast, Game.Com, GameCube, Atari Lynx, Philips CD-I, Sega Game Gear, Sega Saturn are FACTORY SEALED! This sale ONLY applies to the games on this page: http://www.gooddealgames.com/inventory/Retail%20Games.html and does not include homebrew titles elsewhere on the website. Homebrew Heaven will NOT cease operation and will continue as always :-) MENTION ATARI AGE SALE to get this promotion when placing your order. Cheers, Michael www.GoodDealGames.com

Would You Buy a New Game for the SGM?
gooddealgames replied to Troy_Whelan's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
I am willing to help finance more SGM titles and cover distribution, as long as I can get help with the manufacturing side. Michael of GDG's Homebrew Heaven www.GoodDealGames.com -
Did someone say, "Where to buy games?" www.GoodDealGames.com (homebrew) http://gooddealgames.com/inventory/Retail%20Games.html (retail)

I love my Intellivision shirts and the Intellivision. I've always been frustrated by the controller and no third party options, but I recently picked up the hand-made Neo-Geo conversion stick for my Intellivision and the world is a better place. Now I can play Beauty & the Beast in style! The di-hards will balk at my next comment, but I think that game is better than Donkey Kong.

Hello, I just found this thread as I rarely visit the forums other than the Colecovision page. No conspiracytheories DreamTR. It is as simple as seeing the record in my Guinness book and going through the proper hoops to get the collection recognized. For the record, most of my collection is complete, not a single scratched disc, and about 1/4 of the collection is factory sealed. All the games in the video are from my private collection and non of the www.GoodDealGames.com inventory is seen. That stock is in another room entirely. Also excluded from the count were PC games, VideoDiscs (such as CD-I Movies and PSP video, etc), most homebrew games, handhelds, etc. The recent press has done a lot of good for the classic gaming community, given it a lot of much needed attention, and put it in a positive light. Now, let's see who takes the spotlight next! I've said it before and I'll repeat it again, I'm happy to hand over the crown.

False Alarm. It was the Super Game Module interfering with the operation of the game. Once I unplugged the device, it booted up like a dream. -

Different units with different joysticks. All other games are working fine. Played Mecha-8 this morning which is excellent. They are doing an exchange for me. Michael -

I must have a bad cart, as I pressed every button several times in desperation. Tried it on multiple Colecovision units. -

I received my cart today and the opening screen comes up and it speaks and then hangs forever. Is there something I have to do to get the game started, or did I receive a dud cart? -
TI Related -- Ebay / Heads Up Notice
gooddealgames replied to Omega-TI's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
I took the auction down after several e-mail interactions with "ksarulofpurdimal" let me know that the item I had in auction was not genuine. This is the first auction I have ever pulled down in 20 years of E-Bay posting. When you do that, E-Bay forces you to pick one of five pre-written reasons which is why the "This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing." appeared when I closed the auction as it was the closest reason. I'm very well known in the classic gaming community (http://www.gooddealgames.com/Staff.html), with an impeccable reputation. I have a 100% flawless E-Bay rating. I have over 11,000 different games in my personal collection, and while I am an expert with console and coin-op games, I am only a fan of old computer games. I used to use a TI-99/4a when in grade school and middle school and when a fellow friend sent me the following link (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Rare-Munch-Man-II-TI-99-Texas-Instrument-Home-Computer-Command-Module-/261216585321), I decided to sell my cartridge.
