  1. Hello, I am looking to buy/trade original Colecovision manuals and overlays for my personal collection. If you have some, please contact me : [email protected] Thanks, Michael
  2. Okay, sounds like we might be there. Thanks for everyone's time and help. Does anyone know how I can contact Yurkie to see if he is willing to help?
  3. I have turned on the power to the units without a controller, and the the oddities happen. For instance, if I have the flash cart in the cartridge slot, when i turn on the power, it scrolls through the menues automatically (Signalin a continued up movement). You guys are AWESOME!
  4. Luc, if that may be the case, how do you think that I should proceed? I'd hate to throw away ten coleco controllers, three extension cables and three coleco units! Are the controller ports repairable? Could I strip ports from one machine and put into another. I never used port two on any of the machines, so they should be all good.
  5. I need to pick the AA Coleco communities brains as I am about to tear all my hair out! I have a problem and no matter what I do I do not seem to be able to find a solution.. or even the problem. Whenever I put a cart into my Colecovision and start the game, it starts fine but then stramge things happen... Such as the game character sprites moving up automatically. Or the fire buttons will not work. At first I thought that it was the controller extension cord that I use to make the cords longer. I bought two more – no luck. So then I figured that the controller extension cords were causing some sort of interference and dropped them completely. Then I deduced that it might be the controllers, so I bought many more including Collectorvisions/Tobie’s awesome monster joystick. The problem still exists no matter what controller I use. I now have six controllers all acting in the same manner. So, I figured that it must be the input 1 on the Colecovision, so I bought another Coleco unit. The same thing happens on the second unit. I just received a third unit – same thing, the characters move up automatically. or the fire buttons are not recognized. Even though it should not make a difference, I have changed and rotated power supplies. Problem still exists. I can’t play anything and am very frustrated. Have any of you encountered such a problem? Any ideas for a solution? This is getting expensive and I'm getting nowhere... Thanks, Michael
  6. The game is available at the Good Deal Games website: http://www.gooddealgames.com/inventory/Atari%202600.html

  9. Put me on the list, please :-)
  10. Awesome! Thank you so much. I'm just happy to have more Coleco games to play. After all, the Colecovision was my "first love!"
  11. Yes, thank you Lenny and GATEWAY. Like I said, I'm fallible... but I do my best!
  12. Sorry for the confusion. While I am not new to the retrogaming community (been homebrewing for 12+ years now) I am relatively new to the VCS homebrew scene so please any mistakes that I may make. I've only published five VCS games so far. The game in discussion (Escape It!) uses bank-switching AND an extra memory chip, the Sara chip a/k/a the "super chip." These custom Atari chips are not something you can just buy from some old warehouse. They don't exist anywhere, so we had to take apart a Dig Dug or Crystal Castles, etc. There are only a handful of Sara based games and only these two are "common" that can be used to manufacture a new title. Thanks for your kindness with the "semantics" comment, Stargunner :-) Michael of GDG's Homebrew Heaven www.GoodDealGames.com
  13. I have a good number of CD-I movies (CDV format that also play on most computers and other equipment) that I am about to sell off to other vendors. However, I wanted to see if any Atari Age members wanted to grab them on the cheap first, as I am offering them well below my original price point. I have 109 different titles, if anyone wants to buy them in bulk, I can sell them for $3.85 each totaling $419.65 plus $28.30 to ship = $447.95 . They are new factory sealed. For budgetary reasons, you can split the order into two payment orders, if you like. PLEASE RESPOND TO: [email protected] Here is the complete list. 17. You inquired: >You should add screenshots as part of your game descriptions. I don't see any anywhere on your site. (Sigh) I Know. Well, we were just text only until about five months ago. Since then we have added a text description for each item. We then added box/cover scans. So, we are improving :-) We do have screenshots for most of our own GDG brand games. They are located in the "Publishing" section. More general screenshots will come in time. Fortunately, a simple google search will bring details on most of the items.
  18. Do you offer any discounts for AA members like buy 2 get the 3rd half off or anything like that? Just curious! Well, we do not. We are all fans and hobbyists and work on a volunteer basis for the love of the hobby. We do not pay ourselves, but do not have much of a markup either, so there is little wiggle room. I am willing to offer a 20% discount on all GDG brand Sega CD titles until Christmas to AA members.
  19. Greetings, If your looking for a homebrew game, I very well might have it in stock. I have over 200+ homebrews for sale or trade for an assortment of systems. 22. Concerning Blaster: We only made three copies initially of Blaster to help start the launch the new website. All of which were sold a few weeks ago. We were going to make more, but in respect to our friend Eugene, we are pulling it permanently. While we work voluntarily and for the love of the hobby and do not profit personally, we are taking it "off the menu." We certainly do not want to upset a gentleman that has brought us all so much joy over the years! So Sorry. Sincerely, Michael of GDG www.GoodDealGames.com
  23. Thanks for the kind words, "Racer," but please don't knock Al as he has been invaluable to us over the years. I shudder to think of all the time he has spent manufacturing games for us, not to mention how many times I picked his brain for advice. For those unfamiliar with the previous GDG before transforming into Homebrew Heaven, you can read up about the transformation in the following thread: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...136705&st=0 I just want to mention that we are a fan and hobbyist run website, and that for the past decade all income from sales went directly to operating the website in order to maintain our small publishing division. We do what we do for the love of the hobby, which is why I just couldn't stay away. We always supported the homebrew scene, so it was a natural fit to bring others into the fold along with our own games and misc. projects that we have released. It feels good to be back :-) Cheers, Michael
