i went to CSC/Cal U pa, for college. OLSH high school and DEW middle school. and forest grove for elementary. but i graduated in the 90s not 70s ! -
electronic billards because its the only one i have!

im not putting down homebrewers or thier efforts. and true it is first come first serve. you could say its not fair that my mom wouldnt letme join the atari club to get club only titles, or thats its not fair some atarians werent even born when certan games came out or that some people never got to live to see ertain things come out. but it does set a standard that new games come at a premium and part of that is the expense and time to go out to get it. i didnt neccesarily say that i wanted this game but it would always be nice. and i only asked about a 2nd run simply because I DIDNT KNOW if there was one or not. and that how you learn right by asking? hmm guess i learned nothing
-
will the game have a 2nd run so more could buy it? limiting it to a convention just aint right. considerin the cost of travel youd be pretty much paying 100s or 1000s just to get one or two games...

no it is on rt 65 aka ohio river blvd. its the strech between the mckees rocks and sewickly bridges -
its hard to say the 2600 has the most games the 5200 was the bigest the 7800 had the highest number the lynx is the best portable atari and the jag is the most powerful so i guess they are all the best!

britboy the ft pitt tunnel and/ir bridge doesnt really effect me since if you down 51 from mckees rocks you can by pass the whole thing, in fact i have NEVER used that death trap more than like 2 times ever, i dontlive around robinson anymore i still ive around college which is an hour away but still in pa theres a goodwill where i found saturn games and even a boxes nes cart as well as some pc games but not too much but usualy when i have no $ the stuff will still sit there for weeks until i can buy it, but i was hoping pittsburgh wasnt heavily populated with atarians, so i could be the only one and claim it all haha. no im not going to philly i have to work . wish i could -

Was Atari trying to get rights to DK Jr. in 83?
AtariKen64 replied to Scott Stilphen's topic in Atari 2600
lets not forget that around this time nintendo was trying to get atari to carry the nes in america. it might not match up perfect but its a possibility. i think the deal went sould when atari saw coloeco running a donkey kong game at a ces. but that still doesnt explain how dk dkjr and mario bros would up on the 7800 in 1988! -
i have sonic 2 for sms from the uk and it works fine on my us game gear if it helps but thats the worst sonic ever

Ouch... DC outsells Xbox in Japan
AtariKen64 replied to Lost Monkey's topic in Modern Console Discussion
speaking about the games from NOW and not from the atari era. i absolutly hate most "american" themed games it drives me nuts to be put in front of one. im tired of 3d first person guns and ammo games with extreme factor. i live for games that were desgined for japan then reluctantly put out here... cant wait to get my hands on mister mosquito! lets not forget that for me turn based rpg's are the greatest genre of all time! working designs is second only to atari to me -
how do you get an nes rf box to work? i tried that YEARS ago so that id never have to to the back of the tv to play the games. i found a nifty plug at radio shack that eliminates all need for a switch box!
-
yes i t does beat about everything but the display seems so strecthed where as other poratabls dont have this problem
-
to me the lynx's only technial downfall (theres tons of other downfalls like how it was marketed) was its resolution was pretty bad lots of big visible pixiles

what if someone else bids $9999 over your bid?
-
in each nes game theres a small foam brick in the box to keep the cartridge elevated so its easy to grab out of the box why not make its 1/2 inch shorter? beats me
-
i think they are bothe rare and crappy, but id never give mine up! the whole premise of the robot is flawed since each game would require new peices that would just get lost easily, hence 400$ stack ups on ebay. my guess is someone will eventually homebrew a rob game, someday the last sighting of rob was in startropics!
-
its a very cool idea! but honestly how would you convice wal*wart that they should carry it?? specialty places like bababges might like the notion but without some real chance of exposure youd just be throwing money away. has anyone ever tried to build thier own (non portable) vcs? and make like a special case for it and so on..? hmm... maybe majesco would like the idea hehehe
