  1. same as the others what lynx games were first and last?

i know it was packed with california games at one time , and that epyx made alot of the orginal games.

the last lynx review i ever remeber was for gordo 106 sometime in late 1993 in the old VG and CE mag.

  2. same as the others? what were the first and last 7800 game?

for this i know that 11 games were planned, 3 orginaly relasedn in 1986 and came with pole position 2

there were a few 1990 games but i cant find nothing past that. what came last?

  3. hi ill be posting a topic like this for each system to keep it all in liine,

but what was the first and last 2600 game made? i think the last ,it was klax though secret quest was the last one put out im america, though a few games a copyrighted a year after that- 1990

we all know the orgiginal text # games were first, but what was the first one after that.?

also for the 2600 since it has 2 periods what was the last warner game and first tramiel game

hope this stirs up alot of posts

  4. if hes still in school then he wasnt around during ataris hey-day and probably not old enough to experience any atari made products when they were in the stores. and "ad-wizards" have the tendency to tell you if what you have is even slighty underpowered/out of date, then its sh(izzle) and not worth a da(ng). despite how good games can play.

let him wait till his xbox gamecube or playstaion runs it course and if he clinngs to it he may hev grown anough to appreciate atari

  5. as far as i know they started in may 1984 and ended in sept 1984 but only made 5000. that confuses me because how long does it take to build one?

i think crossbow or atari 70s woudl be the biggest experts on this as tehy have poseted many many threads on this topic and have answers for you

as for value atari 7800. com sells systems for 200$ i got an expantion port 7800 for 0$ so its a matter of looking in the right place

  6. why steal when its practically fri go ocassionaly i dont think theres much competetion here cause i usually find stuff there. but they usually dont have much. i found genesis games, pc games and a beeshu zoomer still in box with styrofoam even. no atari though.

  7. the games of the 90s will ALWAYS be a grey area in this sense

i say its because "classic" can be claimed as either anything old, or anything truly great and a part of a tradition, hehe or just so long as they are both!

is the Saturn etched in the minds of most gamers the way NES or 2600 or genesis was? not really, did it have great games, yes not all were bad,

but i always follow this critera, not to detrimine if something is worth of classic status, BUT if its "modern" or not.....

if its on store shelves its modern , if its not, then its not modern anymore. i think itll be easier to call modern instead of classic, xboxb is morden game cube is modern. ......

  8. im not sure if a 7800 was shown in alf as posted before. but there was a 7800 seen several times on home imporvement and they actualy play it once in a while, in the earlier years, anyone else catch this?

  9. i think alot of trashing of it can be attributed to that the 2600 stayed on for soooo long alot of people remeber it, especially after its peak it took criticism for a long time. hardly anyone puts doen coleco intv or these days sega because they let the games die with dignity (i guess)

  10. maybe sega is doing to it to get their original shares back from atari that they lost around 1995 hehe,,,, if you cant remeber its too long to explain, but if atari had any sense then we would have seen a jaguar phantasy star!

  11. ok glad your not mad.

perhaps the author had a seperate strip in mind where a kid is amazed that atari video games came with joysticks with "real acrade!!!" feel for free instead of 70 bucks like they do now!

personally theres a huge area of the NES that could be made comical too, namely the blink blink, or all its wacky contraptions (hmmm gets pencil and paper)
