  1. notice hes willing to part with a N64 game and FOUR controllers for around 45 but a boxed metriod goes for almost the same!

does each year backwards in time ad some insane dollar amount to what its really worth?

  2. as a kid all i wanted was an arcade perfect version of ms pac man, of course the 2600 was good but not verbatim , and despite 7800 nes genesis and pc variants the only one that is worth it is still the real deal. even the dreamcast maze madness that had the orginal in it was not EXACTLY the same, sigh.

  3. ok i finally did it,

i found a black lable version of final fantasy tactics, it was only 11 bucks! to me this is a happy day as i dont have to submit to the greatest hits repackage andgot it cheaper than if i did anyways,

but what is the game really worth? i know that it used to be around 100 bucks but with the reprint im sure alot of folks were happy just to have the game, but im sure other s like me seek out the original, just like atari 2600 variations.

so can anyone place a true dollar value on it? by the way imnot gona pawn it off its staying with me for a long time!!

  4. OK this one has been bothering me for LITERALLY 20 years.....

the cx26xx numbers on each and every atari made game. i know that they ar ethe part number but what decision was made in numbering them.?

    heres what

combat was THE first 2600 game it came with the system it was # 2601. yet the other 9 games that orginally came out in 1977 are not 2602-2610 i think they go as high as 61, not sure...

so why would a game that was done by 77 start with such a high number yet others released a bit later would be under that? it is obvious in later years that the last games were saved the highest numbers, of course a few spaces up to 190 are missing!...

so does anyone know how the numbering system at atari worked? or just share your thoughts.
