I actually already ordered a PS3. I ordered a 160GB version. Thanks for the suggestion about that HDTV site. I was not familiar with that one.
-
Thanks. I probably need to do some double-checking to make sure there aren't a few DC Comics games out there I've somehow missed...

-
I never saw the movie so I can't comment on that. You mean 2 hours of Halle Berry in a catsuit isn't enough for you?

-
Thank you. You may remember I'm not in the best of health...I've been on dialysis for about a year now...and I've had operations on both my eyes...but at this very moment I'm getting along. I recently ordered about 12-15 games and I could get a game every day this week (except for Sunday, of course) so I'll have something to write about for a bit. Once those are all in, I need to get back to playing more games and writing about them.

I wrote this blog entry at my LiveJournal blog, too. After reading that I had cut down to 8 systems, my brother commented that I still had 7 systems too many...

-
Glancing at what I still have, I don't really see anything else I plan to get rid of...that's 8 systems, just over half of the 15 I used to have. I guess I could technically get rid of my PS1 systems since I can play my PS1 games on my PS2 but I don't think I'm going to do that...it really wouldn't count since I'd still have the games anyway. Then, what would I do if my PS2 went bad?
-
There is at least one other...I have Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection for the original Xbox

-
I must confess I never played Spidey on the GBA since I never had that system...
-
I'm not sure if it's the same game...it probably is at least a little different or it would have the same subtitle. I know it has no multi-player to speak of which is one reason it got a lot of negative reviews. I usually play by myself so a lack of multi-player options doesn't really bother me.

Well, the Saturn is gone now...I did play a bit more of Duke Nukem 3D on it before saying sayonara. I don't think I will really miss it, though. I did manage to survive the first level finally...but after killing all the bad guys, I couldn't remember where to go to finish the level. I now am down to an even dozen systems.

I hooked up my Saturn to have one last go at it this evening. I was surprised...I thought I had more games for it than I do. I played some World Series Baseball 98 and Duke Nukem 3D...boy was I rusty on that game, couldn't even complete the first level, though I think I got close.

I actually did have a 3DO a few years ago...got it in a trade and then traded it away again. I forget if I traded it for another N64 or another Dreamcast, one or the other.
-
I have to get back to that...I have hardly touched it since getting MLB Power Pros. I will also have to try that mode you like...

2080 is indeed the only game I have that starts with a number. If I were to cross off the last game alphabetically, that would be Zoocube. Or I could throw out Fantastic 4 since that's the slot in the list where Fight Night: Round 2 would go. I will post my first marathon report later today. I played two games yesterday but haven't written them up yet and I could play and do a write-up for a 3rd today...

You are right...a 3.5 isn't good!
I had heard at a forum that certain things repeated too frequently (a standard flaw with trivia games on the DS) but it sounds like other elements of this game aren't that good either. Thus, I guess I'll pass and just watch the show on TV when I need a Price fix... -
I looked and Size Matters actually did get a port to the PS2 but the people who wrote about it at Amazon.com didn't think much of it so I will likely avoid that one anyway.
-
Thank you...I thought there was a PS2 version, too. I guess I was wrong...since I don't have a PSP, I won't be getting that.

There's a pretty big difference in the graphics on MLB: The Show for the PS2 and the PS3. I played part of a game on the PS3 at a Wal-Mart and then bought the PS2 version. I like The Show but find it now to be just a bit slow. I think I'm having more fun now with MLB Power Pros. Of course, it's fun to play The Show since it has a fairly current roster for my favorite team. It even has Adam LaRoche, Ronnie Paulino and Ryan Doumit on the Pirates now...

My doctor mainly wants me to walk for excercise. He wants me to get up to a mile a day eventually. I've managed to get up to about a half-mile so far so I'm still working on that.
-
I've never really played Ocarina of Time though I've certainly heard about it for many years. I'll doubtless be playing it soon. Regarding the King Kong game, I got an e-mail today that my copy shipped today. I'll soon know if I'm getting the right version this time...
-
I only have the first volume of MAT so I can't vouch for either volume 2 or 3...I once bought the XBox version of the 2nd volume but never played it. I heard someone saw one or two of the games on it (especially Wizard of Wor) was too fast so I wound up giving that copy to someone as a gift.

Thank you. My next review will be the one other compilation I have, Midway Arcade Treasures but I'm sure I won't get to putting that up until at least tomorrow.
-
That's pretty good. I expect to buy less the 2nd quarter. I've decided to play more and buy loess. I've also decided to start a little project I'm calling The Pittsburgh Pirates Video Game Project. With every 10 Pirates wins, I'll allow myself $50 worth of video game purchases. The Pirates haven't seen 80 wins since 1992, I don't think, so it looks like 7 will be the magic number over the next 6 months...

Ah well! I can annoy my sister-in-law with that. Everytime I go up to my brother's and am playing Zoo Keeper, she usually asks me to turn the sound down. Wait'll she hears Baby Mario wailing...

I got an e-mail today...the PS3 has shipped and should arrive via UPS sometime on Thursday.
