  1. I went from Pong to the 2600 to the 5200 to the 7800. After awhile with that one, I just got interested in other things and I put it away...for about 5 years. Then a friend of mine told me Big Lots had games for it for $1 each. I bought several and then started reading up and decided to get one of the newer machines...settling on a Super Nintendo. And I've never stopped gaming since for more than a few months at a time.
  2. I have one GBA game, Baseball Advance. I've never had a Game Boy Advance and don't plan to get one since the game works fine in my DS.
  3. The only system I ever got on Launch Day was the GameCube. I drove over to K-Mart about 9:30am and they were sold out...I was interested in getting one but not rabid about it. I drove across the highway to Wal-Mart and they still had several and no lines. So I picked one up along with the games All-Star Baseball 2002 and Star Wars: Rogue Leader. I think, next to that, my closest might've been the first Playstation. It came out in September of 1995. I didn't get it then but I think I bought one before the year was over.
  4. The one I remember the most was Super Metroid for the SNES. I had nevere even had an NES at that point so I'd never even played the original. I started playing this game one night and I just couldn't stop. The next thing I knew, it was morning...
  5. Hey, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who liked The Death and Return of Superman. I need to play that again...but as I recall, you can't save during the game, can you? You have to beat the game in one sitting as I recall. I had the SNES version. Was their really a Superman game for the Playstation? I see it was made by Titus. Was it basically a PS1 version of the N64 game? I got Hardcore Gamer Magazine in the mail today and they reviewed Superman Returns and they gave it a 3.75 score out of a possible 5. They said that, despite the game's problems, they still liked it since it actually had that special "Superman" feel to it...
