Hi @StefanD consultation then these tools were not created by you? Hyper XF.atr in the case that it does say what does the readme file say? since it is in German but some letters are lost. 😅

doubledown's New 3-Button Joy2B+ Micro Arcade Stick
ascrnet replied to doubledown's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
I know what you mean, but that button is very eye-catching. I find that it misses the aesthetics you managed to make in my humble opinion. 😅 -
doubledown's New 3-Button Joy2B+ Micro Arcade Stick

Great job, but that button to turn the Joy 2B+ off or on I would leave it on the back or front with a slide switch. 😅 -
sure, but bullets are already my friends on a level without them I miss them. 😆 we seem to be repeating themes from previous levels 😅
-
sorry i can't play without shooting, i like to be on the edge of retrying. 😆 it's not long now i think. 🙃

I was struck by the fact that everyone mentions the devilish difficulty of your game. 😆 I didn't find it difficult, the one that is difficult and desperate is level 17 where the two blocks are in the corners and it is very difficult to move them to start solving the level. tip for l20, use the edges of the platforms to jump without touching the blocks. 🤫 now go to l21 😄
-
I am already at level 20. l18 it is recommended to use the calculator in programmer mode and l19 patience and practice.🤫 maybe in the future a version with a second button to pick and drop the blocks as you like. 🙃
-
level 17 is very difficult to move the blocks at the ends I had a whole afternoon to pass the level. 😅 are we in confidence or not ? 😅

you must jump between the towers and climb the blocks in the order 1, 2 and 4. 8 and 16 are traps. 😆 to wait then. 😉
-
Perfect, then you are a master at dodging the shots for this game you will have no problem as it is a little slower. 😉

after reading all the comments only one thing is clear to me they never played Jumpman Junior 😅

it really turned out beautiful, thanks for using Joy 2B+. tell me that joystick can you change the microswitch in case of wear or the mini joystick? when you have some time you can make a video to appreciate how it really looks like and if it is not too much of a hassle 😅 -

good recommendation, I've already added it to github to let the new developers of the world know. 🤩
-
not originally, but the first game I remember using a sega gamepad was Gem Drop 1997 to use two buttons. If you want more examples there are a lot in the github of the project it's a matter of searching.😉
-
I do not agree with you, this format was designed to be easy to adapt to any joystick and anyone can do it. 😉 Another thing was kept the compatibility with the sega gampad that was 3 or 6 buttons since one of them worked as a second button with the ATARI. And another important point also compatible with 2600 to use 2 buttons.

in altirra version 4.10 there is a problem that was fixed in the test versions. but try version 4.01 i use that one. from version 3.20, 3.90 and 3.91 it should be supported.
-
wow it was awesome I played it a little, I hope in the future to add Joy 2B+ support to repeat the scene since I found the down + button combination slow. 😅 as always thanks for sharing your great game 🤩

I liked the idea I join, because I want to support other cartridges in my country. Since other manufacturers are not interested.😄- 562 replies

What is the latest _boot.rom for the Ultimate Cart?
ascrnet replied to ACML's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Yes, you can easily replace the menu. only the menu improvements, the support will require a firmware update. 😉
