  1. ??? He was referring to me. The youtube channel I have to show Atari stuff. Ah, that makes sense. Since our names are virtually identical and all. Apparently. I was puzzled my self, but seeing that you didn't have any youtube content anywhere in your message, I concluded it was me.

  3. And you are basicly a tit... get back to your wanking over 2nd life or what ever your do, watch some videos of Games or something..... U havent a clue about what you are talking about, Having a wall full of HIT records, no1s in european countrys, and more remix's under my belt Id say I CAN make music, u prat! U also said you could do better, then now you say you cant, make your mind up???? prize nob... Max Namecalling is not only indicative of bad character but also of a serious lack of arguments. I said I can loop samples with more variation. And so can the rest of the computer owning population of the planet. Also looping samples != music (that means "is not"). I wonder how you would know about second life? Is it the place where you got those HIT records and remixes? You know everyone can be what they like in that place. Even musicians.. OK, now you stirred your controversy, you made your video known to about 400 viewers in your youtube channel, feel free to go and troll somewhere else. But be warned, the internet might be a harsh place for you. Of course if you consider the internet harsh I can't even begin to imagine what real life might be like for you...
  4. Well, I won't do a hit record because I can't make music. Unfortunately so can't you but at least I can admit it.
  5. Excellent comments, can we hear some music you have done please? Max The point was exactly that. I can't do any music apart from looping samples. Which is about 10 lines of code as I said. But I am sure that if I tried I could do something with a lot more variation than what you did. Now on more important things, I couldn't care less if you destroyed 20 ST's, they are yours and you can do whatever you like with them. But you are posting this on an atari site and this was your first post. Guess how this is called? You are right! Trolling. Also you put something online. Guess what that means? You are right again! Open to public criticism. Now join these four together. What do you get? "Go away stupid troll and come back when you learn how to use more than one sample." In all fairness though, apart from smashing things up which is in no way what I'd consider an artistic expression, the video clip wasn't that bad.
  6. Well done, now go and create some real music. I can loop samples too... About 10 lines of code...
  7. Nice vid indeed. I wish I could record videos with such quality...
  8. Ah. Well that clears that up then. Thanks! Looks like I'm stuck with composite. Is there no way to get RGB into my non-SCART TV without a somewhat expensive converter? No. Still, composite is very good and way better than RF. I'd go with that option.
  9. Just to say that the ST has benefited so much from emulators that I don't think it would have been still alive without them. Most development nowadays is done on emulators for example and most people go back to their machines just because of these emulators. This is also true to a bit lesser extend for the amiga and every other old computer and console I know of. I think the jaguar is really missing out due to the lack of a proper emulator.
  10. Nova? http://www.atarilegend.com/games/games_det...hp?game_id=2323
  11. No you haven't. Return key needs only 1 rubber dome.
  12. I agree, it looks quite futuristic. Actually if they experimented with that case they could have made a really cool looking console.
  13. The great gianna sisters if I am not mistaken. It is very true that the a8 has been largely untapped, especially in the audio department. Can't say that I really like that mix, but I hear the potential. I assume that RMT is under development, so those missing features can be added. On a related note it would be great if we had more interaction between the scenes, more ideas being exchanged etc.
  14. The ironic point here is that people who code on the Amiga know the limitations of the A8 (or they even get fast to it) because the AMIGA has the same limitations at a higher level. But they go coding the C64 instead, because it's a Commodore. Indeed it is. It's also interesting how they also stopped coding the Amiga (ECS/OCS). /me really needs to start soldering an RS232 connector on his 130xe SIO port.
  15. Heh, seems the lack of gfx artists is universal in the atari world . Emkay, without knowing the technical limitations of the a8 (or a lot about coding in general), pure had abrupt transitions, black screen -> next effect, but they had it very well synced with the music and had a relationship between the various effects. So in a sense the music called for sudden changes. Both demos you showed had a distinct feature though, lack of static graphic screens. And Heaven, have you seen the demos by Dune, Sector 1 and Checkpoint? You'll find that design in ST demos has improved quite a bit. Still numen is very close to my idea of design and transition. Actually an inspiration. I think that the classic ST megademo format (with the main menu) might work very well with the a8..
  16. Yep, Natural wonders 2 disappointed me a bit . Not that it was bad, there were some very nice effects there, and graphics, but the direction was a bit lazy. They didn't have good transitions between individual screens. On the contrary EoD absolutely ruled on that. And you are right about the bouncing ball, you can see it in virtual escape by equinox (among other demos, I've seen it quite often in ST prods).
  17. SH204 is broken. STf needs reseating of the chips inside it, SC1435 can be repaired by a tv repairman. Nice haul indeed.
  18. Wordplay on the thread title. But seriously, I would be interested, especially if we are talking about a smaller form factor...
  19. Why would anyone want to put an atari in a c64 case?
  20. Then make sure to check my blog real soon if you have an ST with hard disk (and some time ). Atari really didn't know what to do with the ST after 1988-89 or so, which is a shame. Anyway, we are still here.
  21. They are both from 1993. I really need to record Space Fighter though. Its intro is superb.
  22. Here is my list (with screenshots or video so we don't disappoint Al. ) Epic video from my falcon, D-Bug magic Another World Space Fighter http://www.atarilegend.com/games/games_det...hp?game_id=3292 Awesome 3d No second prize Didn't find an ST video online but it's the same as on the amiga (YM sound on the ST obviously, which I prefer to the amiga one for this game) Venus the flytrap
