  1. To answer your question, I'd recommend HomeVision's Racing Car, the 5 Video Gems titles, and maybe My Golf, if only for the sake of uniqueness.
  2. In 2049, a 2016 "Happy Birthday Albert" cart will be worth MILLIONS! Right, Albert?
  3. Trying to reach you about box art. Please drop me a line. Your account won't accept PMs.

  4. Well said! I can't know if I'm speaking for the majority here, but I'm just fine with reproductions because, while they may not be "real", they represent something that IS, and had it not been for The Crash, may have been available to all of us back in the day. So, PLEASE keep the repros coming. Gives us all a taste of history.
  5. To all involved, this is clearly a MAJOR contribution to the community, both historically and in terms of pure uniqueness. MUCH respect for the effort and the patience AND the skill! On behalf of those who have expressed their interest here, I'm sure we ALL look forward to contributing by buying the "enhanced" release whenever and however it is made available. THANK YOU!
  6. Neo, this release looks professional enough to suit my tastes, and I am rather picky when it comes to boxes. Had you released a "premium" version first I would have bought it without hesitation because I trust the quality of your work. Now that I have THIS release, I'm not feeling compelled buy any other. Now, if the "premium" version has game features over and above this release, I might reconsider.
  7. That's cool. Hope you're okay with the occasional gentle reminder. It's always an event when you release a game.
  8. I know you've been busy, Neo, but any more thoughts about this?
  9. Congrats to Albert. Well deserved for perpetuating The Classic Gaming Community in countless ways! And here's a nod to Alex Bilstein who founded the site (Atari 2600 Nexus).
  10. Are you willing to ship via USPS instead of FedEx?
  11. For what it's worth, I love this idea. Call it a "compendium" rather than "encyclopedia", which has been done. However, compiling so much obscure information would be daunting, as many who have tried could attest. Thanks to those efforts, we know how elusive what you seek can be. Not to be discouraging, but no amount of money can uncover that which is not "uncoverable", due mostly to the fact that the records you need simply may not have survived. This had been a frustration of archivists since the Classic Gaming Community began. But I sure like way you're thinking!
  12. Copyrights on intellectual property expire 75 years AFTER THE DEATH of the rights holder. That's why most classical music is Public Domain.
  13. This is the complete and correct list. By the time Rubik's Cube was released (limited retail), the Atari Club had been discontinued.
  14. #13 for me, if you don't mind. And thanks for re-doing a boxed release!
  15. From the boxed releases, I missed: BK Kaboom DPXMAS Gosub I and II Tronman Santa's Helper Any sellers?
  16. Yes, Neo, please post a list of everything you've released, especially boxed. If there's something I've missed, I'll have to start searching...
  17. Bought two games from Mayhem. They are as described and work perfectly, plus he was a genuine pleasure to "talk" to. Shipped promptly and provided tracking info. He is a credit to our community!
  18. Since this is the "official" interest thread, count me officially interested in buying one.
  19. Ya know, I own the DP Guide but didn't remember the reference. Nice catch, Phil! Here's another article about the DP guy's museum in Texas... http://www.polygon.com/2014/9/21/6742881/videogame-history-museum-location-national-frisco
  20. It was the late '90's and despite having a wall full of Atari boxes, I was considering donating my collection to an orphanage. The thinking behind that was, the hobby is dead, the games were worthless, no one with ANY interest in video games would want to play on such an archaic system, nothing new would EVER be produced for it, and I was no longer an active participant in the hobby, plus I was starting to think of myself as the only person on the planet who went berserk collecting for the 2600 in the '80's. Out of curiosity I went browsing (using my dial-up Prodigy account) and discovered The Nexus. I didn't "join" but I DID have some great correspondence with Alex Bilstein and, through his encouragement, started contributing HTML adaptations of manuals. It was because of Alex and the vast amount of info and helpful links I found on the site that I got back into the hobby. It's fairly common knowledge that as Alex became less involved and Albert more so, The Nexus evolved into AtariAge, and well done I might add. Still, I miss Alex even though I never had the opportunity to meet him. However, I WAS fortunate enough to meet Albert at CGE in 1999 and feel privileged to know him. His answers to questions about Alex were oddly vague so I concluded (and playfully told him so) that he and Alex were really the same person. He showed me a picture of the two of them together, but, you know... Photoshop...
  21. Excellent! I had checked Atari Protos (GREAT site!) but neglected to explore the Rumor Mill. Thanks for steering us in the right direction, Sir.
