Just saw Curt Vendel on That 70's Home
K3V replied to video game addict's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I just checked my Tivo listing and it's not showing up at 1:00 am tonight, but it did show yesterday's airing which I missed. Hmm...well hopefully the late december repeat comes through OK. -
I got mine a few days after I ordered it. Cafepress is usually pretty good.

A&C act as up and down and the rotary controls right and left during the bonus levels. Pretty difficult to navigate using this setup but at least it (somewhat) works. Oh, and before someone asks - a controller in port #2 lets you put in your initials for a high score
-
Actually Linko mentioned it in the post right above yours

Here's an auction that completed recently, to give you a ballpark idea: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8137125297&rd=1 You'll probably get a bunch more if you sold stuff separately though.
-
Sounds good. Well if you get it all up and together maybe we should look into merging the two sites and having one central location for all Fest info past and present.
-
Well jagfest.atari.org was around for years before jagfest.org. Not that I don't think both can exist but jagfest.org certainly isn't the original Fest site . Unfortunately I wasn't able to update the jagfest.atari.org site this time since it's no longer in my control. It used to be hosted on the Jagu-Dome server which I had access to, but the entire site got moved over to JustClaws' server. I don't know if he plans on keeping the Fest section up to date or just there as a historical archive, in which case we should keep an ongoing record of upcoming events somewhere in a central location. In that case jagfest.atari.org should be updated to point to jagfest.org for current events.

Actually, I did post it here too, and it's still on the first page of the Jaguar section: http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=56523 Didn't generate much interest here. Most of the guys that came were from Jaguar Sector.
-
I've been posting about it on Jaguar Sector II, NUON-Dome and Digitial Press. There wasn't much talk of CCAG here at AA so I never posted here. Not sure if there will be any other JagFest stops this year, but there were multiple last year.

I've got one on the way. Thanks everyone!

Looking for a working Atari video pinball console. I would prefer the woodgrain version but really any working unit would be great. With or without box/ac adapter/manual. Can pay via PayPal. PM or reply here if you have one FS! Thanks.

Well there's always the Neo Geo I suppose.

I'm going to have my Ocean Depths CD at the JagFest here in the States tomrrow too, so the Eerievale demo that is on that disc will be shown on this side of the globe http://www.nuon-dome.com/ndjagfest.html Good luck with your show, guys!

It will be demoed at CCAG on the 23rd, so everyone will get to check out how much progress the game has made Clicks looks awesome, though. Nice work Matthias![/url]

Here's the "Taking Control" article I wrote after making my first Jag rotary controller. It's referenced in the article Creekree linked to but the link in it is broken. http://justclaws.atari.org/jagudome/rotary.html -
Spinner/Rotary Controller Recommendations for Tempest 2K

True. Ok, well I'll give it a shot It has to be better than having to spin the 2600 driving controller 800 times to get around the web once -
Spinner/Rotary Controller Recommendations for Tempest 2K
K3V replied to Great Hierophant's topic in Atari Jaguar
Hey Tyrant, what do you think of this one: http://www.oscarcontrols.com/index_spinner.htm Looks like it won't be as crazy sensitive as the Vortex because of the smaller encoder wheel. -
Spinner/Rotary Controller Recommendations for Tempest 2K
K3V replied to Great Hierophant's topic in Atari Jaguar
Hmm, ok...maybe I'll look into something else then. A true Tempest rotary seemed to be a perfect fit in theory, but might not in practice. Would have been nice to have an in-game sensitivity adjustment I'll talk it over with Stephen too - I know he's building one of his own for the show so I'll see what he's using. Thanks! -

No clue. Stephen Anderson is going to wire it into my arcade stick for me at JagFest later this month The one I built just has the standard 2600 driving controller in it, but I'm not a big fan of its performance on T2K. Here's what the stick looks like now though: Yeah, it's basically a huge box but there's plenty of room to work inside and gave me room to add pinball flipper buttons on the sides. Maybe Stephen can provide some install instructions after he gets mine wired up. That'd be cool info for everyone to have I think.
