Clay Halliwell made a nice Battlemorph soundtrack, too. I got a copy of it at JagFest 98 - he made a very nice CD case and disc label, and ripped all the audio tracks from the game for the disc.

 

I never bought the official Will Davis BattleMorph disc but I do have "The Original BS" soundtrack that Stephanie sold a while back.

Wes was in touch with the guys at Imagic years back and they sent him a copy. I've got a copy too and that's how we got the tracks to put on the Jagu-Sounds site. I don't know the whole story behind it but I imagine those were the tracks that would have been in D2K before it was switched to cartridge format.

Well I beat it with Guardian on Killer and had the same results as Carl - it skips any ending story like the other characters have and goes right into the credits. I though this pic was kind of cool though

I tried the codes, but haven't noticed any problems with the music in the game or the menus. I also haven't been able to find any more special moves! Not even sure if the Guardian has any, he's pretty tough as is.

 

Some things I have noticed: there are no name voiceovers for the two hidden characters. So, for example, when you select the character or when you win a round, you just get silence for a few seconds. Also, when playing the Guardian in one player mode, the background never changes regardless of which match you're on, except for the Shadow fights.

 

You also don't get a chance to do annihilations at all with Guardian, so obviously he doesn't have any

 

I'm going to try beating the game on killer with Guardian. I'll snap a screenshot of it if/when I do.

I would so kill to see Ultra Vortek with improved control.  I also would hope to use Carbon as a playable character.  I don't mean to sound doom and gloom, but this whole remake idea, as good as it sounds, it's probably gonna get lost in Limbo (meaning it won't make it).  Sorry if I sound grim.  BTW, does anyone have Ultra Vortek sprite sheets or images of Carbon.  Maybe even screenshots featuring Carbon.  Thanks.

Now that the cheats are out, let's use this thread to document the fighting moves for both new characters. Beyond noted in their email to me that they didn't have a record of the moves, but they shouldn't be hard to figure out anyway. For starters, here is one for Carbon:

All controllers will work on all NUONs, no worries.

 

FreeFall has a pretty complex control scheme, and a high difficulty level. I recommend taking the time to go through the tutorials before "diving" right into the game. You can also make use of the Level Select Cheat to practice the tougher areas of the game without having to do an entire mission over every time.

I've got a spare copy of Jaguar AvP up for sale or trade. I'd prefer to trade for some of the stuff I need if possible, we can do part trade/part cash, I'm pretty flexible here. Some of the stuff I would like to trade for:

White Jaguar game box inserts - I need probably 5-10 of these to fill up boxes I'm missing them from.

 

Clear plastic Jaguar game rental cases - like the ones GoAtari used to sell. I got one and like it for the games like Aircars that didn't come with a box, but GoAtari doesn't seem to sell them anymore. Again, I could use like 5-10 of these.
