  1. Curt,

I should be able to help you set up on Friday if you need. My table shouldn't take too long to setup (and some of the stuff I don't plan on leaving overnight), so I'll probably end up twiddling my thumbs for most of Friday. Drop me an email if you want to set something up.

Count me in for going out at night too :)

    -Kevin

  2. Did the  zebra-striped hooker make it as CD cover-girl?  :D

j/k -- the packs look fantastic!

She didn't make the cut, although that would have been a good idea for the packs. :) Glad you like the looks. Kevin did a superb job on the artwork. The CD's themselves though are very very cool, pics tonight. :)

We couldn't get a decent screen capture of the crazy hooker so she got the axe. We did think of it though, and hopefully video captures won't be a problem for the next two packs, right Jay? :D

  3. I have a 1080 Amiga monitor that shows the Jaguar color in shades of green.  Any idea how to make this work better?

      Thanks!

Yep, sounds like you're running in 'greenscale' :D We had problems with this at JagFest, until someone thought of pressing all available buttons on the screen :D

I had the same problem on my Atari SC1435 monitor...the button on the front must've gotten switched on during my move into my new house and I was very dissapointed when I got it back into my kiosk and saw all green. Especially since I had just had the thing repaired (bad flyback), and didn't have the money to buy a new one.

Luckily it was just user error :)

  4. Thanks man.  Good luck on your search for Jag goodies!  There's plenty of good deals to be had out there....  And no problem on the Jag VR thing, I get that a lot... heh!   :)

Must be a cool avatar if people are using it as your name now :P

  5. I lost the bid on the new Jag on ebay. No way I'm gonna pay over $80

    for a jag system.

    I'll wait it out awhile.

If someone has a used Jag system they'd like to sell me at the

Phillyclassic show. Bring it there! That would be great!

I'll be the goofy guy wearing glasses with a donkey kong t-shirt.

you can't miss this one ... it's mostly green.. has the ape on the front with the snes dk logo on it..

plus i'll wear a picture of my avatar on it.........

    ok maybe that's to much..

    who here is going anyways???

I'll be there, behind the table loaded with NUON stuff.

Pretty sure there'll only be one of those there :D

    -Kevin

  6. Too bad they never took me up on the offer to host there board a few years ago.  We have been doing the NUON-Dome forum for a while now with no problems.  At least there is this forum and the Atari Explorer one.  In the past there were very few alternatives...

Yep, in fact my entire site is hosted with the help of The Helper. He really earns his name :)

    -Kevin

  7. In addition to the Jag images I posted above, I also wanted to share my NUON collection too...

I have the Toshiba player with a logitech controller and these games

Tempest 3000, Merlin Racing, Space Invaders XL, Freefall 3D,

also traded the Tetris for a Ballistic

and finally the awesome Iron Soldier 3 I got on ebay a while back

Cool, nice NUON collection (don't see many of these posted ;))

  8. I had no problems running this in Windows XP but main machine is Windows 2000 and it crashes a lot.  In XP it's a nice little emulator :)

Too bad the CD-image support is Disk Juggler only right now, I can never get that dang program to work on my machine.  They need .iso or .bin support.

I'd rather they make it just read the CD from the CD tray. That way I don't have to load up my hard drives making CD-images of all my games.

Hopefully that's a feature coming down the line :)

  9. I'm having lots of fun with the game as it is -- those "continue screens are hilarious! -- and do plan to get that legit copy soon. I was planning to get it on cart, but I understand that the CD has more music on it.

Not only is there more music, but there's more game on the CD too!

(Primal Rage isn't available as a cart game ;))
