Now those are some huge pictures!

Overal I must say it's incredible. The navigation of the game is very easy and good. You can play with a normal joypad or connect an ST mouse to the second joyport of an Atari Jaguar.Wow, cool feature!
-
Wow, a graphical adventure game, too cool! I used to love these on my PC "back in the day".
Thanks for your continued work on the Jag, Lars! -
Thanks guys. Last thing I have to do is get some plexi. I found some at the hardware store but left the dimensions at home so I have to go back later. Can't wait to have it all finished

-
-
Impressive as always! That SpaceTec controller is awesome

-
I'm really not at liberty to say (and I really don't know), but just know that it's still in the works and will eventually be in your Jag

-
Ok, ok...that's Force Design's own Mad Bodies running in the pics above.
A damn addicting game I must say

-
Looks great Kevin! What game is playing on that Kiosk???Jason
Heh, I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice

-
I think tomorrow I'll be out hunting down a flourescent light fixure and grabbing a piece of plexi

-
I could probably go $500 max.

Alright! My kiosk is now one step closer to being complete, thanks to my man Saturn. He hooked me up with his old controller arm and I just got done installing it. Here are some pics, as promised. The first one is the old broken arm that was still inside my kiosk, poor thing

Thanks again Saturn!

K3V, I frickin' LOVE your Nuon stuff and you know I love that all black controller (something I don't have in my collection).
I'm going to be updating my web-site this weekend with pics of another very LARGE lot of Jaguar stuff.
Jason
Thank you, sir. That means a lot coming from someone with as crazy a collection as yours. And no, you can't have my smooth black controller
Looking forward to your next update. There's always some interesting things in there!
-
I dunno, it's kinda got that RGB computer-feel to it. Maybe that's what they were shooting for?
-
Awesome
Thanks for the links. That controller is totally smooth. None of the detail in the later(?) models. It looks cool. Does it work or is it some kind of proto dealy?
Is that Super Nintendo sign solid like the fiberglass on the kiosks or is it thin enough for a light to be situated behind- illuminating it? I'd always wanted to have some kind of hidden backlight brightening up the kiosk but haven't come up w/ a feasible solution...yet

The smooth black controller is fully functional. I've never taken it apart to see what the innards are like and how it compares to the regular controllers, but maybe some day

The SNES sign is pretty solid plastic, I'd say it's pretty similar to the material that the kiosk is made out of. It's double sided (it has the same "Super Nintendo" text on both sides), which would make it extra hard to light up.

OMG! Where to start...
PIC1
That awesome blue/grey controller!
What's up with that black controller next to it? Did you paint it? It looks freakin' cool!
Even the buttons are black
That black controller is pretty unique. I got it from B&C a few years back and it was just listed as "Jaguar controller smooth black". I believe it's a pre-production model of some sort, and there's a sticker on the back with the number 66 hand-written on it. No idea how many Bruce had or how many were made, but at least 66 I would assume

There are some scans up on Jagu-Dome:

What are those Jag boxes(?) on that same shelf? On the second shelf up? Those are proto NUON game boxes. Got 'em from a Don Thomas auction a while back. More pics here: http://www.nuon-dome.com/pix/protoboxes/pr...protoboxes.html

Heh, the Jaguar and XBOX sitting side by side is really cool. The two most awesome machines of all time IMO
Not seen, PS2, SNES, TG16, Genesis, NES, 7800....

Behind the Jag you can see a framed Phear flyer.

Man, all those games in perfect order. That's a hell of a shot!
I'd need to straighten mine up a bit to have everything look like that...
Looks awesome. I dig that Super Nintendo marquee.
Thanks, just moving into a new house gave me the chance to set stuff up from scratch, that's why they're all in order (alphabetical no less). Don't worry, there's a mess of stuff in the closet still
The SNES sign I got from a video rental place for $2 when they were closing out. The one corner is beat up but it's still pretty awesome. I need to get some sort of fasteners so I can hang it above my closet door, it's a perfect spot for it.

The beloved kiosk
Do you sit in that folding chair and play? It weirds out my eyes to play anywhere but eye level or higher. I had a stool that was perfect, but after a party a while back, somebody jacked it.
Yeah, the stool works pretty well for playing on the kiosk. Of course my kiosk and the other Jag are networked (2 Jaglink 2's) for easy two player games of Doom, Aircars and Battlesphere.
Next to the Kiosk are my Jag rental case and a VM Labs Project X bag.

youre back?
Check the date from those posts, they're from back in May.
-
Very cool. Mine didn't come with that white instruction card, though...I assume it's instructions on how to set up the system?
-
Awesome, thanks!! I'm printing out that post and taking it with me to the stores

-
Hey Saturn, Jay or anyone else with a kiosk -
Next time you're taking pics, could you snap a photo of the fluorescent light fixture that's in the back of the kiosk? I'm trying to find a replacement since it's missing in my kiosk and I'd like to get one that's as close to the original as possible.
TIA
-
Thanks.
If you're interested in that original, shoot me a PM or something.

PM sent

Very cool! Good idea getting the rotary controller on there in the middle too

-
Why not just get a copy of the PC version of Myst? It has to be just as cheap as the Jag version these days anyways.

Painter mentioned in EGM
in Atari Jaguar
Posted
A tidbit of Jag news made it into this month's EGM. In an article about homebrew game developers called "The Re-Animators" it talks about Painter amongst the other games. Here's what it says:
Pardon any typos
