Great find Curt! This seems more than appropriate

Hehe, I love SharkBite games.

Just had to chime in with the chorus of "Yay Curt!"

Tyrant,
Any interest in selling just one of the rotary encoders? From what I've heard it's much better than the 2600 driving controller I'm currently using and I'd love to swap it for a better one in my homebrew joystick. LMK the cost if you've got a spare or two.
Thanks,

Yep, there is part of it in there, looks like it broke off, probably when the game store I got it from was moving it around or something. It's not a clean cut so I doubt it was intentional. It's broken off right where the wood ends, and looks like from there back it's one piece.

Sounding great to me...at this point anything will beat what I've currently got - a big hole with nothing sticking out

I love NBA Jam on the Jag. Great graphics, and beats the CD-based versions thanks to the lack of load times (unless you put in the cheat code to simulate cd loading
).There are some other great cheats too, like 32X Doom mode

Saturn:
I don't necessarily need an exact replica, but something close would be great.
Looking forward to any future progress reports

If you are able to get the controller bracket replicated be sure to let me know, I'll be first in line

I've got four means of CD bypassing:
Protector SE
BattleSphere Gold
Bypass binary via Flash Cart
BJL bypass
The only one I haven't actually used yet is the BJL.

I love the shelf you made for your MAS stick on the kiosk. Should've painted it black though!

-
My kiosk is setup as Jay described, a single hole in the plastic front for the one player controller holder, but it does have the two holes drilled in the particle board for two controllers.
BTW, my kiosk is missing the arm that is supposed to hold the controller. Does anyone have an extra or know where I could get one?

The Jaguar official gamers guide has the location of all the secrets. There are a couple that arent accessible though. My understanding is that they closed off entrances to some but never removed the rooms for them so they are still showing as secret rooms. Since you cant get to them and the game factors them in as secrets you cant get 100% on any levels that have them. I think there are only 2 or 3 of them though.Maybe if you turned on the no clipping cheat you could walk through the walls and get 100%

Yes, I'd love to see some pics of it! I hadn't heard of the 2 player kiosk before either.

Just got done watching the video. I must say that it's pretty impressive seeing JagFest continue on, even overseas, from what we thought up all those years ago on JI.
Looks like the show was a lot of fun and that everyone had a great time. Thanks for sharing the video!

Ok, I've put the manual back up on my site (it's where the B&C link points so that's fixed again). IIRC the shot of Barkley was a screen capture so the quality isn't the best, but it's decent.
Also below is a png of the logo that I re-did. Feel free to use it!

I sent in the original .pdf of the Barkley (for the Jag) manual that I did to Al a few weeks ago. If he posts that you can use the cover art from that if you'd like. I would attach it to my post here but I don't have it on my PC and it's not up on my site anymore either since I was over my allotted storage space.
When I get home tonight I'll post it here if it hasn't been already.

No, that's Thunderbird. I'm K3V.
I found my kiosk "in the wild" at a local game shop. Got it for $200 with the SC2435 monitor and RGB cable. I ended up tracking down the Radio Shack amp that goes in the back on clearance and had to replace the lower front panel, but it's in good shape now

Oh, and I don't think we'll be adopting anyone but I'll be sure to post here if the wife decides to go that route. rofl

Here's one of the ads with the better-looking screenshots:

Looks more like Trevor McFur quality graphics.

Awesome, thanks for sharing the screenshots! I always liked the old 16 bit Tiny Toons games, so I always thought this would be a great title for the Jag. Yet another "shame it didn't get finished" game.

Would be interested how this animation was made. Was it really running on a Jaguar? Or was it a 3D animation of what it should be ?Note that this is the REAL game running on a REAL Jaguar.

I also received a small adaptor as seen in the picture (like the one you got walter). Does anyone know what this is for? That's the monitor adapter that Walter is looking for over in this thread. Maybe you guys can work something out!
BTW, it's not a homebrew adapter, ICD used to manufacture and sell them themselves.

Nice work Jason. Thanks!

Jag Encryption - Round 2

Isn't American Hero designed to use the Memory Track? An encrypted version of that would be cool
