My complete Lynx collection on eBay, 115 Games, 2 Consoles,...
therealodie replied to therealodie's topic in Atari Lynx
Hi Dusk2600, I guess there are other people who own a similiar collection. But usually they don't sell it on eBay. As a matter of fact in a different forum I found a (non working) link to an auction where the seller claimed to sell 4 Lynx consoles with all published games. Obviously I'm not the first. Well maybe I got to keep the collection, if the reserve is not met. Cheers, Odie -
Hi, I used to have an almost complete Atari Lynx collection. Well that is, I still have it, but not for much longer, because I'm currently auctioning it off on eBay. If you're interested in bidding or just watching, here's the link to the auction: Lynx Auction Best wishes, Odie

Hey guys, I have a question: I became unemployed a couple of months ago and now I’m afraid I have to sell my whole Atari Lynx collection to get some money. The collection consists of two Atari Lynx consoles (one Lynx 1 and one Lynx 2) with 115 game cards, two A/C adaptors, a comlynx cable, a big carrying case and both Songbird jungle guides. I have all commercially released Atari Lynx game cards including rare games like Alpine Games, Battlewheels, Battlezone 2000, Desert Strike, European Soccer Challenge, Lemmings, Joust, NFL Football, Pokermania, Sokomania, T-Tris and Warbirds plus the Blue Lightning Demo Card, the Alpine Games Bonus Cartridge, the CGE 5th Aniversary card, the Lynx Reloaded Demo and the officially unreleased cards Clicks and PITS. I have two cards of each of the following games: Battlewheels, Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure, Checkered Flag, Double Dragon, Gauntlet the Third Encounter, Pit-Fighter, Rampart, Robo-Squash, Shanghai, Super Skweek, Todd’s Adventure in Slime World, Tournament Cyberball, Warbirds, Xenophobe, Xybots and Zalor Mercenary as well as three cards of the game Rampage. All games are European versions and include instructions in English, German often also French or Italian. All games are boxed, some games include posters. Electrocop and Blue Lightning are in big boxes. The A/C adaptors have German plugs and you would need to use adaptors to plug them into US jacks. I can provide two adaptors. The Lynx 1 has a special feature built in: Usually the CPU of the Lynx runs at 20 Mhz speed, but the Lynx 1 has a switch so that you can increase the speed of the CPU to 24 Mhz, so games run about 20% faster, though you cannot lynx up with other Lynx consoles anymore that run at regular speed. But for some games it is quite fun to have more speed (although the music and SFX sound a little weird then). Summed up the whole collection is worth about 4200 US$ at current prices taken from Songbird, Telegames and other vendors. How much do you think is this worth at the moment? Is anybody of you interested in buying the whole set (I don’t sell games individually!). Everything is currently located in Germany, but you will only be required to pay 40 US$ for shipping, I will cover the rest. Since I’m unsure about the price and about whether there are enough customers on eBay for this I don’t want to put this up for auction. I’m afraid that I won’t get enough money for this collection. If you’re interested send me an email or a message on this board. Thanks for your interest, TheRealOdie
