Out of picture for awhile. What happened to $$$$?

I thank you everyone for your input. Supply has exceeded demand. Maybe I'll start collecting again. The only thing I ever sold were all my boxed games. I decided once you start getting into that you run the risk of being one of those nuts who collect cards or dimes, and have to have them sent off and graded, and put in plastic. I am more than happy to have nothing but loose games, and now since all you big timers have what you want, I think I'll take advantage of those low prices and get that Berenstein Bears game. Thanks again. (From the Red Sox side of CT) -
I stopped collecting atari games about 7 years ago, after everyone jumped in, and the games got too expensive. I also quit because I'm in Connecticut, and I got just about everything you could not living in California. I even used to belong to this forum, before it was redone. Now, while looking at 2600 games on ebay (old habits die hard) I noticed that games that used to get $300 - $400 are getting a fraction of that. I just watched a Berenstein Bears 9/10 fail to get a buy it now for $59. What the hell happened? Did the amount of people who started collecting cause them to find more games so they are not as rare? Did so many people start on Nitendo collecting that it killed it? Am I imagining this? Someone help me out here. I rejoined the forum just to find out from you experts, as usually I would just be happy to read your posts. PS. I am not collect anymore but I will never sell!
