Here my brawler colecovision game I made so far. This is the first time I animate sprites on this system. Feel free to try my game: brawl.rom The backgrounds need to be changed. Make sprites to move …. and fight.

I played Popeye on Colecovision. The first thing I noted is the witch/woman throwing bottles always displays in the square. I think she drawn in tiles instead sprites because Colecovision's limits. Popeye is still fun playing it. Good thing to know.

I played Lethal Weapon on gameboy and I wonder if there is a fight/brawl game for colecovision. After messing with codes, I managed to get something. Yeah!!!! It's my brawl/fight game. Colecovision has limited colour to choose from. Even if it has 15 colors, most of them are different of reds, greens and blues. In the screenshot, there are five sprites: the player, the towel and three bad guys. Because these five sprites are in the same line, the white guy does not show properly. Colecovision only has four sprites in the same line without issues. A talented programmer might find a way to make it work acceptable. If the player does not wear towel, he could fight three bad guys without any sprites issues. The background alone could reach the limit of 32k quickly. Fighting with one color guys looks funny. With more practicing, I might get something with this game playable.

I decided to try to code colecovision. After messing up with reinstalling stuff on my new computer, I managed to get some results. I made new tiles but the result gets something else. Here the original tiles I'm working on. And this on the emulator. Here the code:

I just received Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the titan for 3DS from mail. For $40, it's a bargain. Most of time, it's $80 or even higher. Of course, I could buy a digital version of the game for lower price, but I like physical cart than digital. That's why I bought the game from eBay. I started to think Ebay is better than Amazon. In Amazon, you need to buy stuff for $35 or more to get free shipping. In EBay, most of time, shipping is free no matter the value of the object you buy. But again, that depends ofe sellers.

Possibility the best game ever before 1980. Star Raiders was released in 1979. Other games for consoles/computers before 1980 suck (my opinion).

It's snowing outside and when I'm working on a movie. Suddenly, NO POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BLACKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fortunately, I'm working on a laptop and my work is not lost. The power is back 20 minutes later...

Good thing this Popeye game didn't release or I would be disapointed. Thanks for the link. I was expecting a Nintendo version of Popeye, not this one. There are no screenshots in Funcoland catalogues or I won't order it in the first place.

I found an old letter from Funcoland saying Popeye on Gameboy is not available and it cannot be shipped. I played Popeye on NES and I'd like to play it on Gameboy. Time flies fast.

Since SF2 is released on Gameboy, I think an NES Street Fighter 2 is possible.

I'm pleased when Space was on free preview and I rewatched Stargate SG1 again. So I started to watch them again. It is a great show but .. Space broadcasted Stargate SG1 10 episodes in a week, I lost the interest of the show quickly, even if I can record and watch the episodes later. But 10 episodes a week is too much for me. I spend most of my time making cartoons and games and playing games, I don't feel to subscribe Space to watch the rest of the episodes. The problem with specialized channels are, they can broadcast two, three, and four episodes in a row of the same show.

I wonder what game is that? It's a close-up from the picture from CollectorVision Phoenix kickstarter. I first thought it could be Sydney Hunter but closer inspection, it's not. It looks like a platformer game.

That happens when I choose the bigger worlds. The game have problem to display bigger worlds on the maps as well.

I bought a new computer recently with windows 10 installed. The first thing I noted is Cortana asks me to tell something each time I turn on the computer. Why did Microsoft put Cortana when the computer starts? It's annoying! It could be an application when I want to talk with it. The most tools I used from Vista still work on 10. I can still make movies and games.

Yeah. I heard the same story. They can put super 8 films into DVDs but it can't be longer than one hour per dvd. I think there are a way to put a whole movies in DVDs longer than one hour but the industries won't tell us. Since DVDs are introduced in 1990s, they might use a special device to put movies into DVDs but normal people likes us don't know.
