  1. I have every Silent Hill soundtrack, Persona 3 and 4, Deadly Premonition, Bioshock 1 and 2, and a Pac-Man Fever 45 (not really a soundtrack, just a sample.)
  2. Mothership Zeta was just okay. Brotherhood is a must. Pointe Lookout was a pretty cool variation that adds a mission to the regular story. The Pitt has one of the coolest FO3 set-pieces with the tower in the middle of the steel yard. I swear I got vertigo!

    NTSC-J PS2

I am looking for a japanese playstation 2. Want to buy but I also have quite a few Atari consoles, accsessories and games to trade.
  4. I bought a 360 for this game alone. It is awesome but much harder than the others. I am not a fan of shoot-em ups at all, and tend to die a lot because unlike other SH games, it is absolutely essential to shoot some monsters, and only with a split second window of opportunity. The The Smogs' music gives me unbelievable willies, and that is the best reason to play these games!
  5. Saturday I perused some yard sales down my block and found an old-timer with a Commodore 64, two floppy drives, (one appears to be modded) printer, all the cables and wires, 4 tac 2 joysticks, and two cases of floppies. There are 130 floppies, with a three inch stack of manuals, and most are filled, double sided with games. I got the whole lot for 15 bucks. The great thing is it all seems to work great after being in an unheated garage for 25 years!
  6. Next thing you know, someone is gonna want to have hands added to the square to hold the sword.
  7. The description sounds like an obvious cut and paste job from someone else's site.
  8. A couple of questions: Is this upgrade available as a do-it yourself kit? Would it be recommended for a novice like myself? (My machine is soldered, not socketed.) Is their anybody you would recommend to do the mod, if it is too chancy for said novice? And finally, does this mod work like having a 5200 or CV usb multi-cart? I purchased both from you in the past and am very happy with the simplicity of use and friendly software, so I would recommend your products to anyone interested in such things. Thanks again!

  10. When his band of demons joined in, it sounded something like guitar, piano, bass and drums. The devil still played a fiddle. I stand corrected.
  11. IIRC, Johnny plays a fiddle for his parts, but when the devil plays, his parts sound like an electric guitar.
  12. I also would like a copy. Thanks!
  13. This just arrived: Sears Tele-games S.N. 15264U
  14. Thanks for your support. I can't wait to get this project underway! I have been in quite a funk lately, and I think this project might help raise my spirits.
  15. I am planning a mod concerning two of my favorite hobbies. I want to combine the sleek look of the 5200 with the aural and aesthetic superiority of the 8-track tape. I need the shell of a 5200 because it is the only console large enough to fit the 8 track guts in. It is also fitting, because the two machines are so universally maligned by the uninitiated. Does anyone have a dead one they can let go for very cheap? I don't even need the guts, but I would like it to be pretty nice on the outside.
  16. Gorilla Glue is one of the worst possible things to use, imo. The reason it did not set is because it requires water to activate it, and when it does activate it expands about 3-4x, kind of like spray-foam.
  17. I like 3m spray adhesive. It is normally used for mounting posters and art to matte board. Any artsy-crafty store will have it. It works great for 8-track labels too, and does not bubble or get crusty. If you are careful it will never come off and be completely undetectable.
  18. I have bought through 4jays ebay store many times and have been very pleased with the products and the prices for boxed lynx stuff.
  19. That will work. Thank you for the heads-up.
  20. Does anyone know where to find an Atariage style mostly complete database for ColecoVision manual scans? I have been searching quite a bit and have found very few at all online.
  21. Secret Quest and Save Mary are great games. Also it is easy to take on vacation or get-togethers away from home. It has good joysticks too.
  22. I agree that his prices are good for the product. I am a very pleased owner of the 5200 version which I bought direct. Money is tight this year and bargain shopping is a hobby in itself for my wife and I. I have seriously had to curb my spending this year and I just figured there are people out there who may have had their fill of the CV cart, or perhaps were like myself, forced to live frugally this year, yet still had to raise money for one of those newfangled Wiis or whatever. P.S. I did see a used one last week on ebay for a $99 bin, so a bargain could possibly exist, I will wager. 'sides, maybe a used one will be full of stuff that will save me the trouble of weeding through hundreds of roms, like I did with the 5200, in order to find the ones that actually work.
  23. I have never heard the term "homebrew" used in the making of illegal moonshine, but in the perfectly legal hobby of making beer and wine at home for personal consumption. I bet there are a bunch of these hobbyists that would take great umbrage with the negative connotations this author attributes. (Being a sampler of some very good homebrews of friends may have influenced the positive feelings I get from the term.)
