  1. Wait a second... If Missile Command was released in 1980 and Bushnell was forced out of Atari in 1978, how did he have any involvment with Missile Command????
  2. Atari FB2 on Atari.com Has anyone noticed this yet on their website? It's up for pre-order with a T-shirt. If this has been posted before, I apologize
  3. I can't remember when we got our SNES, if it was on X-mas or not. But these I remember. 1998: Nintendo 64 w/ Goldeneye & Diddy Kong Racing 1999: Gameboy Color (Teal color) w/ Pokemon blue (and Yellow which me and my bro shared) 2000: Playstation (slim model) w/ WCW Mayhem, 007 Tomorrow Never Dies, and others which I forgot 2004: Nintendo DS w/ Spiderman2 & Mario 64 DS 2005: Gameboy Micro 2006: Atari 2600 (A little too late, but better late than never. I enjoyed it greatly)
  4. I saw that. I was quite surprised. Glad to see a Jag game on there too. Tempest 2K is my favorite Jag game
  5. I think it looks much better than their last update. The forums changed too(for the better) I'm still curious as to why they went back to the original logo instead of keeping with the one on current Atari game boxes.
  6. Indeed they were. SNES all the way. Mario Kart, Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Star Fox. I can go on and on
  7. I played it too. Best Batman game yet(hopefully)
  8. They already bought out Midway. Can they really afford another company? Atari revenue went up by 30% thanks to Ghostbusters and Chronicles of Riddick. So far so good. I don't want to see them being engulfed by someone else. All these companies being bought out in recent years, whats gonna happen to the competition? And don't forget quality. For some reason I hate big companies like Activision, EA, Ubisoft, etc. I prefer the small to medium size corporations like Atlus, Konami, Capcom, Atari, etc.
  9. I'm not blaming you for anything. It's just whoever wrote the article has it all wrong. But thanks for letting everyone know about the news of Atari Europe (not Infogrames) being bought out I stand corrected. I jumped on this a little too fast. My apology
  10. No, no, no. All wrong Namco-Bandai has bought the European distribution business of Infogrames. Infogrames Entertainment S.A.(now Atari S.A.) still owns the Atari properties and is still an independent company. That article has it all wrong. It makes it out to believe Namco-Bandai has bought out Infogrames. That's not true. Atari today is working to become an online/digital distribution company, which is why they sold off their distribution business in Europe to Namco-Bandai. Namco-Bandai will still distribute Atari's games in Europe though, so the name isn't dead in Europe. Once again, whoever wrote the article is full of retardation.
  11. Don't mind if I ask this question. But, how do you make a scan of a magazine page? I have this large white binder with, literally, hundreds of Jaguar magazine pages with ads, reviews, interviews, etc, etc. (purchased on eBay a while ago) All those scans I have the actual pages to them with me. I want to post some myself.
  12. Thanks for the video. It doesn't look bad at all. Makes me wanna pick up a copy on eBay
  13. I'm gonna miss MJ. RIP Moonwalker is an awesome game
  14. Rumors going around that he's making a game for a few consoles. Link: PSX Extreme
  15. A colecovision. I'm too cash strapped to get one in great condition. That and a Turbo-Grafx 16
  16. I don't have a favorite for every console I own. But here's the ones I do have Atari 2600 - Adventure Atari 5200 - Adventure II NES - Super Mario Bros. SNES - Yoshi's Island Saturn Panzer Dragoon PSX - FF VII Jaguar - Tempest 2K N64 - Mario 64 Xbox - Panzer Dragoon Orta PS2 - Kingdom Hearts II
  17. So is the company name gonna be Atari Entertainment now? I'm still waiting for them to upgrade their global homepage. It's so dull and lifeless
  18. I hate that place as well. The thing I hate the most is when they open a new game and leave the box on the shelf, just to get ruined by whoever the Hell grabs it. Can't they just print out a boxart and slip it in an empty case rather than open up a perfectly new game? I really wanted a game called Ultimate Puzzle Games: Sudoku Edition on DS, but they only had one and it was opened like that, with the box ruined. I don't know if I'm paranoid or what, but I HATE IT when they do that. When I buy a game NEW, it damn well better be NEW. Not opened. I went to 4 GS yesterday, and they all suck.
  19. Hey, I uploaded a gallery of all the games I own by Telegames. Check it out when you have time and let me know what you think :) Thanks!!!
