  1. yes! a milestone in my history as collector i am on rank #1 in the serial list at stellas boneyard! thanx scott for the nice trade .... i thought it's a good opportunity to feature all known listings and contest here: what i remember right now: 1)picture contests from atariage.com 2) heavysixer serial list at stellas boneyard if you know any other listings or contest, please post them. let do a big listing of atari activities. i will post the complete link list at www.a-t-a-r-i.com, my future site ... greetings
  2. i sent a large ammount of games and parts for the 7800 in trade for it. and i dunno if you heard the story of the HSC site ... there was a guy called justin that messed up the trades and the business of selling them. so i didn't get any replies to my mails, while my mission impossible was on sale for 69$ and even sold later on, same for my joypads and more stuff ... while he never sent out my package, it seems he made more than 200$ out of my trade items .... just a month ago, curt vendel has contacted me and told me he had taken back the site and business, and he was so nice to send me two boxed HSC carts, the first ones from the latest revision. he has even signed them. so these carts have a little history behind them, are from the first revision serie, allready travelled many thousand miles, have an exclusive autograph .... and they really don't look cheap like the hozer carts ... (nothing personal, randy i love your 23 carts i have) so "realistic" means: 1) if you just need the regular cart and don't value handmade boxes and autographs, you should probably just order a regular one. 2) if you're hot on it because of these details, you'll value it a little higher and offer me an extra on top ... 3) if you know i have atarimania, you try to offer me some real hot item and i go "f** the money, let's trade"
  3. hi have a brand new boxed highscore cartridge with instructions. it is even signed by curt vendel. a highlight item for collectors. it is one of the first new early versions with more support. the trade i planned was canceled. and at the moment i am nearly broke ... atarimania has grabbed me again. so i am selling this one to anybody making me a reasonable offer. greetings
  4. sacho games are not too rare, still hard to find ... costs mostly 5$ to 20$ depending the condition ... i have one for trade by the way ...
  5. my protos: 1) Big Birds, 06-13-83 (date) Loaner prototype this one has a black label, then a white label, plus the loaner sticker on top, but i didn't check what's underneath, because the condition is so good .... 2) "NEW RELEASE" by Data Age, printed number 0026, orange sticker, has frankenstein on it 3) Buck Rogers by Sega, "sample only" with red "FT" stamp above. black and white printed label. return to: terris farina, sega consumer products, LA, CA 90038 and a loose Testing Cartridge for the 2600 (MAO1761)
  6. curt vendel has taken back all rights on his site after two other people were running the site and the business for him .... they also did 7800.com i think. that how i got into a trade for two highscore cartridges. but these guys messed around, recieving an not sending my stuff ... so now it seem curt has taken over everything again, and he has just sent me two boxed HSC-carts, even signed also the site design is new to me, think it changed not so long ago ... greetings
  7. i have three more "space robots" .... one from starsoft, one in a short case, and the rainbowvision one ....
  8. probably when i tried to play the boing amiga demo from hozervideo. i had to go back to randys site to find out it's actually no game. just "cartridge-art" or how ever you want to call it ... just an animation with a single feature
  9. my favs were pitfall & ghostbusters
  10. only a hundred Qbs? thank god i reserved my copy for most other new games, i can also recommand hozervideo. props to randy for doing a great job!
  11. ok,ok, let me just say that i am here too. am i ?
  12. it was on the flea market last sunday (the whackest in our city) i was standing next to a filled table just before leaving the place, when this lady started shouting at me "buy buy cheap cheap" (seemed the only two words she knew, she couldn't say anything else). i looked on the table, then on the floor. i wasn't even sure if the stuff is just rubbish or if it's really for sale. so much crap. and then suddenly i look in a bucket filled with casettes (normal audio tapes) and in between what do i see? pac man, homevision no. 4, Time race by goliath, motocross, spiderman, astro attack, a few more common games and a technovision game (!) so i just did what i was supposed to do .... buy buy cheap cheap a good relief after having spent a lot (i should say too much) money for games. BTW, most of the games are for trade (not the technovision unless unless you want to ruin yourself and buy it off me) i would never have thought to find these games there. it only prooves that getting good carts is just luck. there's no typical place were you would find new stuff every week
  13. matthias got it from me you can order these games at hozervideo from randy. greetings fish

    Most Common Cart

BTW, most common ones in germany are probably boxed & loose phoenix. i know a guy that sold me 20 loose ones (brandnew) and gave me 5 boxed on top. and he's still offering bunches of 10 phoenix for 25$. then comes the 32-in-one cart, followed by pac man & demon attack
  15. hes stands for Home entertainment Suppliers and was an australia based distributor of many games (activision-parker-imagic-tnt-cbs-bomb....) with own (funky) packagings

    Most Common Cart

quote: Alex Combat or Pac-man. Which if you put them together, you get Com-man. It was all a conspiracy! i love that conspiracy idea ... this leaves many open questions: 1) was "missile com-man-d" another conspiracy tool? 2) has "laser gate"s anything to do with bill, and was it the prototype of reagan's SGI programm. 3) did the "columbia" explode because of an easter egg in activision "space shuttle"? 4) if these carts are really weapons, the romcharger is an incredible weapon. isn't it weird ... isn't it strange that it has the subtitle "com-man-d center" ? 5) is "mata hari" roland bushnell's grandmother? 6) can you drill a hole in the light gun, and then it works for real? 7) was excus' video jogger actually planned for training the atarian artillery? was "artillery duel" their second training game? 9) If you spell the game "GLIB" backwards, you got Bil G. another mean tool where bill gates had his hands on it? 10) Most of you probably heard about the "black helicopters" stories on the net. what the hell are those helicopters doing in some atari games? so can i still trust my good old atari console? should i throw away immediately my gameline module? will they cut my thumb off if they catch me? where are they?
  17. i still have two parker catalogs with all these games pictured on it. let me know if anybody's interested in trading.
  18. i have a HES/Homevision version in short case from a 2-In-One pak. interested in a trade?
  19. the easiest way (not the cheapest) is to buy a new VCR that supports both TV modes. the signal will be converted in the VCR and you can play on any TV. cheaper would be a small converter box, i just haven't looked for that. but boxes like these were released for other game systems, i think sega did a converter box ...
  20. to scott: i've helped & and i'll help again, scott. i just recieved your package and i am real happy. don't think it would be easy to get a boxed sears 6-switch in europe, these were never exported to europe ... and it looks so beautifull. i nearly would say that i collect sears games (not atari). you'll get my updated list soon ... to sandy: same for me, i only get one label variation of all the carts from brasil. there's just to much, as there was no copyright laws over there, or nobody cared ... but i make an exeption for CCE carts, as they really have some funny labels, and the condition is often better as the ones from video rental stores. Now there's something i specially like about those carts: i have over 950 carts (regulars & variations) but only the brasil ones look like they were really 20 years old ... that's why i focus on those ones at the moment ... to all collectors: Brasil carts suck! send them to me!
  21. if anybody has crazy vallet # 71, then let me know. that's the one i planned to get.
  22. i recieved 17 hozer games this year, 1-2 auctions and a big trade with randy (i had one of his missing roms as complete game ) also i have crazy vallet. but i only got a regular label, although i was supposed to get a numbered one. dunno the politics for the distribution of the numbered one, i didn't get it... then i have thrust. and pesco and merlin walls from those french guys. funny that you have to turn the tv to play merlin. Qb! is allready reserved for me and i am sure to be on the list for Combat 2! plus my participation on the FLC#2 (Fancy Label Club no. 2) will make my 18 individual cart labels for classic games, all by well-known worldwide atari-collectors. i hope round #3 is gonna be even more international than this time. i wonder if anybody else has such an enthousiasm for selfmade games ... how many games do you have?
  23. he probably went green before bidding this ammount
  24. ok, i'll be graphic artist too ... gimme those label jobs
  25. ok, let me know when the next contest starts ... fish
