    Now he has opened it - and it is still listed at a crazy price.

     

    good thing he did! now i see a manual i've never seen before ... i need that one.

     

    i'll give him 10$ for that one ...

     

    ... and he can throw in the rest for free :D

     

    nice console, but nothing to rare either. the box's condition isn't good enough to ask for such a price. too much wear on the corners ... the only thing tempting to me is to have a fourth boxed sixer with the variation just being the "PAz" sticker (aussie pal)

    of course ... i'm sure all this crap comes from the same taiwanese factory ... it's like a Mc Donalds menue ... just make your basic order and then choose your favorite label style and think of an imaginary company name that'll be slapped on there :D

     

    i still believe that this is how it worked.

     

    there might have been a few more middlemen (like Ample) but i strongly believe that there wasn't much more than a handfull of production facilities in taiwan, indonesia, thailand ....

     

    this is still how the sneaker market works nowadays ... most sneakers are made at the same facility 40 miles away from hongkong: nike, adidas, reebook, lots of skate shoes ... all come from the same factory. and most of their false replicas from a factory in guangzhou

    I had to make sure my Starmaster patch was still in its spot :) I actually lost this guy for over a year when we moved. IIRC, my wife found it in a box of sweaters that she was going to give away!

     

    aaah i hate that stuff ... i moved 3 months ago and my decathlon gold patch is gone :(

     

    although i had everything together in one box .. ehm .. well ... it was a pile ... and the pile fell off the table ... and since then it's gone :(

     

    the rest is here ... i'm only missing the second space shuttle patch ...
