I think this is what you guys are talking about: http://gear.ign.com/articles/526/526873p1.html (although that must be a review of an earlier revision because my GameKey version does save high scores, although the review says it can't) and another review http://reviews.cnet.com/Jakks_Pacific_Ms_P...7-31581729.html and finally, the site for the product: http://www.jakkstvgames.com/products.html I have one and find the twist control for Pole Position really nice.

FB2 disappeared from Atari.com
George3 replied to Paul Humbug's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
This post, 60,000 Rev C's on the water..., states that 860,000 were made in 2005 and that the final 60k from that run were shipped to the U.S. in June/July of 2006. I wonder how many were made in 2006? I guess at least revision C's would've been? That bugged me too - going to a URL given in a paper manual (which is only about a year old) and finding nothing. It made me think the FB2 is discontinued. Had I not eventually found the full manual (with its picture of the "hidden paddle menu") - I never would've been tipped off that there were two hidden games - Go Warlords! -
Battery powering the FB2
George3 replied to lord_mike's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
I tried the direct connection too and it worked. This raises an interesting question - how long does a 9V battery last when powering a FB2? If FB2's get good battery life, I wonder why Atari didn't go with an inexpensive 9V battery snap instead of a (presumably) more expensive AC/DC converter plug and jack... it would be one less wire to get tangled up but I guess they thought it would be better to be able to play it right out of the box without any batteries. (OT: I wonder if an original 2600 be powered this way? I see the FB2's power brick outputs 200mA vs 500mA for my 4-switch 2600.)
