To be fair, they had a lot to do with the Jaguar being opened up, including having their own talks with Hasbro (confirmed in an interview with Hasbro's VP or Marketing or something from back in the day), and also with organizing an email campaign towards Hasbro for that specific purpose. Had BS not been in development at that point, Hasbro wouldn't have opened up the Jag to the community. Like you said, though, not that it really means much at this point in time. All of the other stuff that Zerosquare said is absolutely true. There was an underground Jag developers mailing list way back then, with the key word being "underground" because 4Play/Scatalogic had a lot of animosity towards other devs. At one point in time, someone put up the question in the mailing list about whether they should be invited to join. I, being naively stupid at the time, was the only one to say yes. Everyone else gave an emphatic "no" as their answer.

4Play/Scatalogic had talked about doing a PC port or porting to another console way back in the day. I assume life got in the way of them doing it, and I seriously doubt they would trust another party to do the port for them.

I think it's quite easy to say it will surpass GC numbers, and probably even N64 numbers also.

Nice video, and good review. That rotary controller looks quite nice, and I like how it comes with the patches. BTW, CyranoJ is a "programmer", not a "programmer of sorts".

Incomplete is a generous way of describing it. Had it been completed, though, it would probably count.

I'm not a big fan of smoking weed or doing any other kinds of recreational drugs. I think that whatever problems that drugs supposedly help you with could be better handled with therapy. Having said that, there's nothing wrong with discussing marijuana on here, considering that it's now legal in a number of states for medical and/or recreational use. There's also no need to jump into the thread and complain about it. If you don't think the topic is appropriate to discuss on here, then that's your right. You can exercise that right by ignoring the topic completely instead of posting in here to express your displeasure. Complaining serves no purpose other than to open yourself up to "bashing", so stop playing the martyr. EDIT: On the other hand, such a topic might be served better being discussed in the Off Topic forum.

I always enjoyed Hoverstrike, even the cart version. The CD version is a better game in every way, though, so play that if you've got it.

From what I can tell, no one was attacking you. They just explained the nature of the beast when dealing with a smaller store like the Goat Store, and multiple people vouched for them (you can include me in that as well). Having said that, we could all use a little more tact in here, myself included.

Я живу в Украине, но мой русский очень плохой. Sorry, didn't see this thread till now, I rarely venture into this forum. What issues are you having with shipping to Germany? I've only ever shipped something to the UK, and that wasn't very problematic. Just keep in mind that the Ukrainian postal system is far from perfect, but there seems to be far fewer issues with shipping something out than shipping something to here. Also, I imagine the PayPal issues would be bigger, depending on who would be receiving the money.
