Considering the state of Jag emulation right now, I'd say that anything new to the Jag emulation scene is its own unique selling point.

If you're talking about someone whose name begins with "S" and ends with "n", then you're better off not holding your breath. Or even dealing with them in any way.

Depends on what you want to do, but if you can add and subract, that will take you far enough.

You're aiming too high for your first project. If you've never done any kind of coding before, take things in small steps. First, learn how to display an image on the screen. Then, learn how to display a sprite and move it around. Then move on to multiple sprites with bullets, add in a background, etc. If you can't learn those small steps first, you're going to overwhelm yourself and get discouraged.

If you turn up the "Background Gamma" setting in the game, you should be able to see the backgrounds better on your Plasma TV.

Have you ever used a ProController? It's superior to the standard Jag Pad in every way, with a thinner, more comfortable design and higher build quality. I never had any issues with the button placement on it.

Agreed. The ProController fixed all of those issues. It's a shame that they're impossible to find for a decent price now.

Great to see this game finally get released! I've been involved in the testing for this game pretty much ever since inception, and saw it go through several different iterations and evolve over that time span. The end product is a game that I still can't stop playing!

I'm probably one of the worst bloggers in the world, just because of how sporadic my posts are. I think I've started and abandoned a record number of blogs over the years. Let's see....LiveJournal, WordPress, Blogger...and of course, this one. I think I should win a prize for this. Maybe it's because my current job now is as a writer. So, writing during my free time isn't exactly something I want to do after spending hours writing for work. Or it could just be that I'm lazy. Maybe both. Anyways, enough rambling for now.
