The famous OxF (known from "Numen" demo and other great Atari stuff) and me published a game called "Vector Reloaded": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zIfH-Hi7OM Story: http://atarionline.pl/v01/index.php?subaction=showfull&id=1301609053&archive=&start_from=0&ucat=1&ct=nowinki&status=OK XEX file: http://atarionline.pl/v01/index.php?ct=katalog&sub=V&tg=Vector+Reloaded#Vector_Reloaded Have fun.

True. However, the most important factor to estimate the chance is the person of author. Some authors never finish their work, there are some we can trust . Paw completed his first Atari game ever ("Dr. Mario") and as far as I know him, he is able to complete dizzy-like game too. BTW: base gfx in his preview comes from "Treasure Island" (NES), the top and the bottom from "Treasure Island" (C-64), shape of Dizzy from "Crystal Kingdom" (C-64).

There is a new version of "Dr. Mario" game available (in our database signed as v2): http://atarionline.pl/v01/index.php?ct=katalog&sub=D&tg=Dr.+Mario#Dr._Mario Changes: - some minor bugs fixed - game speed fitted to NTSC computers - reaction for keys: P - pause N - tune change M - music on/off Q - quit K - keyboard cliking of/off

Pawel "Paw" Gugala, author of Atari version "Dr. Mario" (3rd place in last KazKompo). Seems to be his next project. BTW: music used in my video was made by Gonzo and Miker, it's not a part of game (yet?) .

Philsan - thank you very much for creating this thread. I was very busy recently and couldn't open it myself to inform AtariAge community. All votes from this topic will be counted in. Let me answer some questions and doubts: Yes, it is okey. However, only people who voted fully (for ten games) are taking part in prize drawing. It should motivate to vote for 10 games . Mimo - If you wish you can add 7 missing titles to your list, we will count them too. Rules are as simply as possible: 1. We vote for the best Atari game published in 2010. There are some doubts about "what is Atari game" (VBXE issue), "when game program is finished" ("TLC" issue) and "when game was published" (old games first time published after years), but I permit as many games as posibble to compo. Why? Because I believe that people should decide themselves which game should be disqualificated, which is okey. 2. Everyone can vote here, on AtariOnline.pl or AtariArea, vote can be also send by email to me. If person's knickname is not registered on AtariAge, AtariOnline ora AtariArea and I don't recognize it from another places - I try to confirm existance of person. If confirmation is not possible - I don't count vote in. 3. Everyone can vote for every game, even authors or/and publishers can vote for their own game. I believe that people will not overuse it and vote for the best game, not for "my game". 4. You can vote for top ten or less games. First place on the list will get 10 points, second - 9 points... tenth - 1 point. All points are added up. 5. There is no money prizes (since 2008 edition) because people didn't send me accounts numbers, didn't want prizes, etc. All money from previous editions was spend for charity purpose (Polish doctors' foundation established to cover medical treatments for poor children). Actual prizes in compo are: prestige and proud . Moreover, winners can use compo logo - gold, silver or brown. 6. Deadline for voting: tonight at midnight. Please hurry up! There is a playlist on YT prepared by George. Use it if you'd like to remind all titles without playing them: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=9C728B20C6A62801

They were unsuccesfully looking for publisher in Poland. Why? Because all companies wanted publish it on tape, not only on disc. Unfortunatly this game supposed to be strictly disc-based. True. I think smart DLI and PMG can also help to color up title screen.

The game project (Alien Breed-like) completed in circa 70%, abandoned by authors in 90's. Music "Instrumentarium" by Analmux, added to movie by me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dY8T-PJtcXM There are plenty of levels, music in CMC format, almost completed graphics, etc. and authors agreed to pass on to someone who can complete this project. The graphician has appeared on AtariOnline.pl forum and presents more his old pictures, for example: http://atarionline.pl/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=744&page=1#Item_36

Kaz atarionline.pl replied to Stormtrooper of Death's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Hi Richard, I'm happy you appeared on AtariAge forum! Just to remind everyone that I interviewed you in August: http://atarionline.pl/v01/index.php?subaction=showfull&id=1283042198&archive=&start_from=0&ucat=5&ct=wywiady&%3Bsub=Z&%3Btg=%27 You should read it (yes, I know that Google translation is not perfect), especially about MS-DOS emulator working on stock Atari . -
I can't find topic about Jan Johnsen's game "Dracula Lives" using this "amazing" and "advanced" search engine here, so I'm creating a new one. Here it is version 1.65, completed by Scalak: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmEN12be3Pc

This is afterparty version. The party version was devoided of Ooz's pictures and is available here. It looks different when you only watching 3D objects, not a full demo.

How many games were done in Graphics 8 (Antic F)?
Kaz atarionline.pl replied to Tyrop's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Enemies moving as quick as "Action!" procedures let them . This is maximum what TDC could do using his skills and "Action!". Sources where published, you can analize them. -
I don't know what exactly was released on abbuc disk. However, different beta-versions were released on Forum Atarum, where author informed about game development progress. Pawel told me that version 6 (v6) could be published as final version. Yes, it is: http://atarionline.pl/v01/index.php?ct=katalog&sub=D&tg=Dr.+Mario#Dr._Mario
-
What titles do you mean? I know only two games: "Bank! Bang!" and "Global War" and three utils" "Diskcopy", "Graph8" and "Map Maker".
-
Pawel "Paw" Gugala published the final version of "Dr. Mario", clone of NES game (music conversion by Miker): http://atarionline.pl/v01/index.php?subaction=showfull&id=1289383325&archive=&start_from=0&ucat=1&ct=nowinki http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcdjLvxYg6A

Have you heard about "Dungeon Master", first realtime RPG game for Atari ST and other 16-bit computers? Sure you have . Vega and Tezz are working on conversion for 8-bit Atari, Miker is preparing music and sfx. More details on AtariOnline.pl, including screenshots and video clips. No download yet. http://atarionline.pl/v01/index.php?subaction=showfull&id=1284294046&archive=&start_from=0&ucat=1&ct=nowinki I think Tezz is the best person to answer all questions expected here .

Heh, I didn't realize someone is tracking this! The AtariOnline.pl website was moved on to the new server and it makes some trouble in archiving databases. The God... ekh... the Admin is working on this problem
