  4. Thanks for info, I credited it in video description on YT.
  5. There are flicking sprites only, not the whole screen. As far as I know it is feature of sprites multiplication (like in "Crownland" game) and extra RAM can't change it. However, I suppose it shouldn't be so visible after code optimization. Pr0be is the best person to answer your question.
  6. True! Here it is again: direct link to file.
  7. Gonzo is working on "Space Fighter", cosmic shooter with some nice graphics effects (coloured GR9 mode, GR9 animation, starwars-like scroller, more than 20 colors on play screen, etc) and I prepared video clip to present it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSmvEpWvPrs xex files are available here code, gfx - Gonzo music - nilsfeske (takeoff), nn (mortalkombat)
  8. I glued Tezz's pic, Analmux' music and Pr0be's engine together in short video clip, looks nice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOD-ns6UNhI
  9. I met some guy at Shannon airport with this nice luggage: but I didn't ask what's inside just because "they never tell you..."

  12. It is VBXE-free project , proof we don't need any VBXE to make ZX-like games. VBXE is evil ;D
  13. Direct links to screenshots and video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NqA4wBrA1A
  14. Franklyn promised to play "Mountain Bike" theme too and maybe "Zybex" but he said the first part is very difficult to play on guitar for him because he is normally drummmer not guitarist.
  15. Nice to inform that the original BBC Micro/Acorn Electron game "Hobgoblin II" will also appear on 8-bit Atari: You can see first public video on YT, made in emulator, with switched artifacts on, as you can see code is much faster than BBC version: http://atarionline.pl/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=638&page=1#Item_0 Coversion by xxl, Nosty will publish it through GR8 Software.
  16. Well... there are two schools for counting places . One of them counts places countinously, with no breaks in numeration even some games took the same place (like I did) and the second is like you said. Both are acceptable.
  17. Ms Excel and OpenOffice sheet Full article on AtariOnline.pl PS. I'm disappointed that my favourite "Tempest Xtreem" haven't won . This is dark side of democracy .

  21. As far as I know author did not release it. However, it could be taken by someone from Mirage, where author showed it as demonstration version for this type of game. TDC made "997" game later, much better shooter, and "WC" can be treated as beta or base for "997". All this stories will appear on AOL soon (I hope). I asked TDC about sources too, waiting for answer.
  22. The game was written in Action! by Tomasz "TDC" Ciesliewicz in 1989. This simply game is released after 21 years on AtariOnline.pl. Screenshots: Video clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WY_Mhk8RuA Artefact itself: Warsaw City
