CoJag makes the most sense to port games to in 2023.
-
I never thought I'd say this, but can we put politics aside and get back to discussing the Jaguar+?
-
Oh it's this Gunther guy again. He already asked about a Jaguar+, I'm sure if I visit the 8-bit section he's asking about an XEGS+.
-
The announcement states exactly that, the Blaze contract ends at the end of the year. Does that mean they can do another run big enough to have stock for a year or two? Who knows. I can't say I'm surprised by this though. Lynx I is one of the top Evercade carts in my opinion and it's not a system a lot gamers are familiar with.
-
That manual is definitely not legit, I must have half a dozen of the real manuals from getting the carts thrown in w/Lynx bundles over the last 20+ years.

Open letter to all the “Idea Guys” out there

Can I interest you in my ambidextrous arcade stick that works on every system ever made? I just need someone to figure out how to actually make it for me. -
So who is the market? All those people with their beloved Jag carts in a closet from the 90's but no Jag system? The people who don't own a Jaguar, but have heard such great things about Club Drive and Kasumi Ninja that they want a new console and to pay EBay prices for games? The people who have a tough time deciding to spend $60 on either Mario Wonder or Frog Feast?
-
Can YouTubers be any more useless? The guy is talking about something he doesn't own and hasn't used. Zero value.
-
I think the "best" would be the PS4 Pro, otherwise I'd personally just grab a Slim for the smaller footprint over the OG.
-
Doesn't he have a Facebook page where he has tons of fans and people tell him how awesome he is? And hasn't he sold like 2,000 copies of bootleg Frogger?

So did anyone get a transparent pocket? I decided the 2 I own are enough. Although maybe next month they'll sucker me in with another variant. Who knows.- 274 replies

Well spill the beans, then. What's the one blindingly obvious difference between the Signature Edition of Towers II Stargazer Edition and the Standard Edition of of Towers II Stargazer Edition?
-
Is this something that'd require a side by side comparison or is it an obvious "this is the SE version" type thing? Fumes...

Would there be support for a rebranded Jaguar Bomberman game?
madman replied to Gunther's topic in Atari Jaguar
It is best known for being packed w/the amazing 4-player 1990's basketball smash hit White Men Can't Jump. Inviting 3 people over to play that game was how we unfriended people back then.- 17 replies

Considering the GBA cart of Goodboy Galaxy is 55 Euro (which I'm not knocking), the Evercade price is hard to beat.
-
Get a 7800, get a 7800 GD cart and some Gen/MD to 7800 controller convertors.

I picked up a Majesco GG many moons ago with an improved screen over the OG GG, but even with the nicer Majesco screen you're right, the Pocket is that much better. I get that it's an easier money maker for Analogue to make these transparent color Pockets, but I'd like to see a horizontally laid out Pocket 2 or something similar to have the OG GBA/GG/Lynx style layout. Except instead of like the OG GBA, it'd have a screen you can actually see. Probably a pipe dream and I know about all the Retroids and other devices.- 274 replies

The beauty of the Jag forum is that it's genuinely hard to tell if this is a joke or sincere.

I'm not sure how storing batteries in a cardboard box sealed with shrink wrap would largely affect anything vs storing it without the shrink wrap. We're not talking an air tight seal. I bought a few refurb 2/3DS systems from Nintendo years ago, those are still sitting around and nothing has expanded or leaked or blown up. The only time I've had a battery go puffy was on I believe an original PSP, I'm not saying it doesn't happen, it's just not a major concern for me. Here is some additional reading: https://www.ifixit.com/News/69041/how-batteries-can-catch-fire-and-how-to-prevent-it I'm guessing the purple transparent Pocket will be the big seller, I'm interested in the smoke color.- 274 replies

I'd also like to take a moment to appreciate this guy posts he's completed his Jag collection and we all rush in and tell him about more carts he needs to buy.
