  1. Version 2 has a few new features like different weapons, new levels (?) and new mags including one shaped like a DC, but nothing stunningly different. I have to agree with Dave on what happened to the community feel. People were selling weapons on eBay and using GameShark(?) to cheat. According to Sega, they will be keeping Dreamareana servers up and running as portals for their new games on PS2, XBox and GameCube. The off-line part off the game is a mundane character building exercise. Be careful of second hand copys of the game because you can only play the game, once registered with the registration card, from the same DC. Also, if you haven't got a keyboard then playing on-line is crap.

As for the Genesis, the adapter I have is 10V 850mA... however, this should work fine with a Master System... Don't put over the rating on the voltage, even 1V could be enough to fry your SMS. As for the current, it doesn't matter as long as you are on or over the current rating, the console will draw enough current as it needs, but if you put a PSU that is under the rating, say 300mA, then the system will draw more current than the PSU can handle and blow the PSU. This is why Ze_ro's offical PSU has a higher current rating. A PSU with this rating and the same generic plug type should be easy to find. My PC is powered by several suitable supplys (scanner, speakers etc). Also check the polarity, which on my SMS II is center negative. As for the RF hook ups then you can use the same as a 2600 Jr., Jaguar, NES, MD1 (not 2) and a whole load more. I could sort you out with the lead, offical switch box and a controller if you want to email me.
  3. My parents have gone away for 2 weeks which means one of my infamous gaming partys! These always go down well with the beer: - Virtua Tennis - Any SMS/MD Sonic game - Ms./Jr. Pac-Man - 4 player V-Rally - Power Stone - Tony Hawks - Sega Rally (Saturn) and these are always to be avoided: - Sonic Shuffle - Any RPG - Sonic Shuffle - Anything GameBoy - Sonic Shuffle
  4. I was in EB today picking up some very very cheap Jag' NOS, when I saw on the shelf Record of Lodoss War for DC at a stupidly low price that I couldn't say no to. When paying for my merchandise, my friend in front of me who was buying a used GCon gun was given a box which contained a PSX memory card, controller and CD case. I got a similare box but for DC including a game tower, soft CD case and a 1MB memory unit!! All of which was worth more than the game. So for under 20 GBP (about $30) I got: -Jag' controller -I War -Ruiner Pinball -White Men Can't Jump (including Team Tap) -1MB DC memory card -DC game tower and soft CD case -Record of Lodoss War Everything was brand new aswell! Thanks goes out to EB (even though they put Carrier in the Londoss case). Oh and I also picked up a new Jaguar yesterday for 5 quid (about $7).
  5. Yes, ofcourse there was the C64 version, silly me. As I remeber it sucked, but the sequal was a bit better, it had the No. 1 spot in the C64 chart for about 4 months.
  6. If you'd mentioned it to me, I'd have poked you in the eye. Looks like your Karma is paying off Stan. I had some good finds aswell today, although Jaguar. I went into my local EB (now GAME) yesterday asking about all the Jaguar NOS they had in, they pointed me in the direction of our other EB, but nothing was on the shelfs. I ask they guy "Umm..You sold all that Jaguar stuff?" "Nope. It's upstairs in the stock room and everything is half price" he replied All I picked up was a copy of Zoop for 4 quid, but I went back in today looking for Bangia-O for DC when on my way out my mate pointed out all the Jag', Lynx and Game Gear stuff on display, and all half its all ready cheap price!! There was one Jag' system left on the shelf for 9.99 and asked the guy if it was half price aswell. He said that as I was in yesterday asking that I could have it for 4.99... I'm going back tommorow with more cash to clean them out. Hopefuly I'll pick up: - White men can't jump - I War - Fever Pitch Soccer - 2 * extra controllers and what ever decent is left!
  7. BTW people I went back into EB Bristol today and everything was back on display. I picked up another console for just 5 quid! Unfortuantely thats all I had on me and ment some more bargains have to wait till tomorow. Including all games 4.00 and controllers for 2.49!!
  8. "Bad meaning bad, but bad meaning good" - Grand Master Flash
  9. I also have a copy, but its PAL / SECAM. If your interested then send me mail with your trades.
  10. I expect, like me, you'll have to make do with an NTSC version. PAL BMX Airmaster is very difficult to come by.
  11. quote: Originally posted by Ze_ro: Hell, Dreamcast games are already pretty damn cheap and easy to find... Maybe in second hand games stores etc, but how much are you actually seeing in the wild? Same for N64 (which they are still producing games for I believe)... In the wild I have only seen a handful of games for DC so far. What I was aiming at was in the wild i.e. thrifts / flea markets in great quantities for less than $5, and being approximately 10 years after the period of its most popularity. It seems a pretty accurate model to me.
  12. The SMS market was a lot better here which means we got a lot of games that you didn't. I didn't know Sonic Choas was on SMS until I found it, although I had a GG copy. I don't know how I missed Wonderboy III from my list. Just a side note: The reason I didn't put down Phantasy Star is because its one of those games that I didn't have as a kid (nor did anybody) and now it's got this new cult status, which makes no sense to me. It's a good game, but not great.
  13. Was this the SuperCharger I was after? If so then I've got one word for you....HA!
  14. I went into EB Bristol and they didn't have anything out, so I asked and they pointed me in the direction of their other store. They too didn't have anything on the shelf so I asked again. Ended up that all the stock was upstairs (in their store room) and half price! I only picked up Zoop for the Jaguar though, and I found out that if I had have been a week earlier they had Jags at only 5 quid!!! Darn. I payed 29.99 when they first hit the shelfs.
  15. Harry would it be obvious when we've finished?
  16. Is anybody else looking at a long string of 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s and 6s? Or think what relation this could have with anything?

BTW sorry to everyone for the delays on uploading this, or to anyone not featured in the pictures
  18. I've got unlimited bandwidth and I'm only using one page @ atarinvader.com, but unfortuantely I want to play the game...
  19. I take all my 2600 carts out of their boxes and stick them lable up in a set of 3 drawers. The boxes are store in a cupboard. My boxed Mega Drive and Master System games fit perfectly into a bookshelf (which has now overflowed on to my floor) which is stuck besides the drawers. All my consoles are on top of those and I have a special storage rack for my Dreamcast games which are also on top.
  20. I was thinking about the way in which the abundance of videogames in the wild relates to their time of most popularity. It seems to me that there is a lot of Gensis (Mega Drive) and Master System stuff about at the moment (circa 1992ish?), and from what I can gather, Atari 2600 stuff was about during the mid 90's, almost exactly 10 years after the 2600 reign was its height. Does anyone else find this? and does it mean that in 2011 I will be finding a lot of Dreamcast stuff?

  22. Did you look at this list? It's not very comprehensive I don't think and isn't updated any more, but should give some idea.
  23. More good shit Randy! You'll see these bad boys on the *cough* new *cough* AI in a few months. No more to be said...
  24. Theres some lists and stuff at The Acient Atari PAL division... 'Punk if there's anything you want PALwise, I'll probably be able to hook you up.
  25. hmmm...top 5? 5) Sonic Choas 4) Mickey Mouse - Castle of Illusion 3) Alex Kidd in Miricale World 2) Marble Madness 1) PacMania I'm a huge fan of the SMS and the Mega Drive / Gensis!
