    Here are the 2 "pongs" I own;

    The first is a Radofin Tele-sports TV game, I love the "thumb slide" control

    How are the Target shooting pongs played? I have never found one with the gun. I am a huge fan of light gun games on the NES.

    Just about any Atari game is pretty rare here where I live so I wasted no time buying these when I spotted them:

    I just bought 6 RCA Studio II games for $1.99 each from a thrift store. All are complete in box with instructions.

     

    Although these games may be "Rare" and "hard to find" there is no demand for them. There may be fewer Studio II baseball carts listed on eBay than NES pac-man carts, but more people want the pac-man game so it has a higher value.

     

    I also noticed that the 2 studio II carts you have seem to be the most common games for this system. Just about every eBay auction for Studio II games includes 1 or both of these games.

     

    Also your shipping charge may scare away a few buyers. Most people don't like to pay more on the shipping than they are on the product.

     

    One thing to remember is rarity means nothing without demand

    Is anyone else having problems getting into the PlayNintendo forums?

     

    As far as the rarity guide and game info there, I am beginning to have my doubts that those will ever be brought online. He had half of them online a few months ago and said he had them done offline just waiting to post them when he got his dot.com back, it has been a few months since then and still nothing.

     

    The forums at PlayNintendo.com are great though, well worth a visit.

    Well, I dug out my ZT and found the cable inside. I can't find any documentation that may have came with mine. I am sure it didn't come in any special packaging.

     

    Is this cable considered rare?

    The cable is 5 feet long and doesn't have any markings on it

    I don't remember if I ever played ZT using the cable.

     

    I thought this game was great, it was the closest thing to "Doom" that I had ever seen on the Genesis.

    The Intellivision would be the only game system I would own, if the controllers wouldent wear out so easily.

     

    I have 3 Intellivisions and none of the controllers work. I even bought the replacement boards several times to fix my controllers but those would wear out even faster. I just wish someone would make a really good replacemnet controller out of a Jaguar controller or something.

     

    Another thing is that I think INTV stuff is hard to find. In the year I have been collecting video game stuff, I have only seen 3 or 4 carts in the wild and no other Intellivision stuff.

    My favorite is the "Radofin TeleSports mini TV game" although I have only played 3 different "Pongs", the other 2 being Radio Shack TV scoreboard (was missing the gun) and the Roberts Rally IV

     

    I like the Radofin because it uses a "Thumb" slider instead of a twist knob, its a lot easier for me to use.

    I paid between $5 to $10 for each of my "pongs" at thrift stores. I don't know why anybody would pass on a Pong system they are great. The rules are easy to learn, they don't take long to set up and just about anyone can play.

     

    I buy all the pong systems I find.

    Actually found some atari stuff today, I was shocked

     

    4 game carts

    Mario Bros $2.99 (has some label damage)

    Word Zapper $2.99

    Vanguard $2.99

    GI Joe Cobra Strike $2.99

     

    2 Joysticks for the Atari, "Champion Reel-Up" the cord reels up into the base $2.99 each. Anyone know anything about these? Only marking is "Champ" on the plug, how can you tell the difference between Super Champ & Mini champ? These are pretty good size I would assume super? (picture has it next to an Atari joystick)

    They also had an Atari 2600 jr with 2 joysticks for $12.99 (no power supply or rf cable) but I didnt buy it.

    I am a "Thrift Hunter" myself, I hit the trift stores here just about every day. I have only bought a couple of games off ebay, I think the prices on ebay are higher than the same games would be in thrift stores. I recently bought TOE JAM & EARL for the Genesis for $46 shipped off of eBay, just because I will never find it in a thrift store.

     

    But I think it all depends on the area you are in. You should try all of the sources you mentioned to find out which one has the most of what you want. Around here the only games that seem to show up at the thrifts are NES games, Atari & Sega games are a rare find around here.

    IBM Thinkpad 760XL laptop & docking station. 8 bucks. :)

     

    Thats a pretty sweet deal.

     

    Does it work?

     

    Where did you get it.. a thrift store? If that was in any thrift store around here I am sure it would have a $150 or more price tag.

     

    Only "laptop" I have ever found was a Toshiba T1100+ for $15.00. I still haven't got it up and running yet.

    Has anyone played both the original TJ & E and the X-box TJ & E 3?

     

    I want to know how similar the game play is (split screen and same screen w/close to each other, 360 degree map instead of side scroll)

     

    I was really disappointed with Panic on Funkotron which I bought as soon as it came out.

     

    I think TJ & E would have had a lot more sequels had they not changed the game the way they did with the 2nd.

    I have been collecting NES games for 1 year now and I would love to collect the Tengen games, but they are far and few between around here.

     

    I now have 107 different NES games only 3 are tengen I think, 2 unlicesed (Pac-Mania & Rolling Thunder) and 1 licensed (Pac-Man).

     

    I am sure if I was really serious into collecting NES carts I would just go to ePay and buy just about every game I need, but I am sticking to thrifts right now and not paying more than $4.99 a game. Although if I did happen upon some game like a CIB tengen tetris I am sure I would fork out the dough.

     

    Just last week I thought I hit a load of Tengen carts but they turned out to be Wisdom Tree... dang black carts!!!!!!!!

    VintageGamer.net is an AtariAge clone for the Nintendo stuff basicly. It is a work in progress and is far from finished. He has a forum set up just like this one. It is mostly just atariage people that surf the boards there but I am sure it will grow quickly once he gets everything done.

     

    search these threads for NES cart scans or something like that. Someone has posted a site that has a bunch of scans. I just dont remember what it was.
