  1. Just had a good transaction with @Joel D. Park. He was careful to make sure everything was boxed up well and even sent me the items before I paid him! Thanks again @Joel D. Park!
  2. Maybe try looking up the BBSes you used to dial up here: https://www.telnetbbsguide.com/ - chances are they're all in there. I don't see a way to list that by platform unfortunately.
  3. Nice! That's gotta be a tight squeeze! What SCSI controller are you using with it?
  4. This brings back some memories! I had an awesome PC-AT case filled with SCSI drives and even floppies (made special cables). The AdSCSI was the center of it all. Very cool card.
  5. You had me for .4 seconds there as I read your reply!
  6. Whoops, I read your original post as you were selling extra cables - sorry I do need a power supply and cables though, if anyone has any spares!
  7. I'll take em :). Mine has zero cables!
  8. Fujinet is really best used to access files over a network - either remotely as you've seen or your own private server you maintain. It'll also work with an SD card very much the same way. As described above just copy the ATR to the card and insert into the Fujinet, then you can select the ATR to mount from the SD card (rather than a network location). There's other solutions better at this than Fujinet like SIDE3 for instance. Once you get the ATR mounted you're in Atari-land then; you can copy files around with DOS or whatever you like to use. Your ATR will show up as D1: or wherever you mounted it.
  9. 5+ years later, still have the multi-pak?
  10. Yup lots of obvious things wrong with the process. Great hardware, not a great OS experience. Also a shopping cart in the store would be nice - tough trying to buy 5 or 6 games in one go. Also not locking the system up 50% of the time after purchasing a game would be great too. I use mine as a Batocera gaming console most of the time, which its wonderful at. Switched it back over to buy Atari 50th and some holiday sale games and it took a week just to get it to boot up again.
  11. I had to reflash a system just because it sat for 6 months w/o being powered up. It's not just with new systems. Atari needs to do a little better job with it's OS patcher methinks!
  12. I've got a box in storage just taking up space - it originally was a PEB shipping box, I believe for a reconditioned unit. The inside is filled with injection foam - originally the PEB was in a plastic bag and surrounded with foam. The foam hasnt aged well (its kinda crumbly) but it's all still in there. If you want to ship a PEB this is the box for you I'll let it go for free, you just cover the full shipping of the empty box. I figure someone around here might like having it. I kinda do, but i'm just out of space and I don't want to throw it in the dumpster.
  13. Truly awesome - thanks so much for all the work you do on Altirra.

    WTB: Tandy CoCo 3

I've always had a curiosity about the CoCo since the olden days when I used to repair them at a Tandy Computer Center. If anyone has a 3 in great shape or a system for sale please let me know. I'm bored.
  15. Enjoy the hunt - the internet will provide. Google for Ultimate II+ and browse those products. Plenty of things for you to spend money on! Might need to dig a little deeper. 16. I bought the last BB on eBay. It's a beater, looks like it's been in a swamp for the last 20 years. Going to do a full refurb and try to bring it back to life, otherwise it'll look nice on the shelf. I'll post here when we start to work on it, and if you still need help let me know.
  17. Nice review. Interesting to hear about your project and workflow.
  18. Exactly! Astal4 was the original 30 post guy, now up to 38.
  19. Very impressed by the responses here. I think it's everyone's intention to support both Candle and Lotharek (and FJC) professionally once (if) they work out their issues. Inflation and contracts is a big problem right now.
  20. In the day this was how it was done. If you were cool you got one of those tilt n swivels to go under the monitor for a better angle, but the ST should support it just fine.
  21. This might be a dumb question - I'm not familiar with the Ube...does it have a switch on it? You wont ever have access to all 3 modes at the same time (Low/Med/High). The monitor port senses which monitor you've got connected, and the switches just let you choose one or the other.
