    Soul Star

I have the uncompleted game. It's got good graphics and is pretty fun. Wish this was completed. It is more fun in a couple of stages than Zero 5.

    Jag Games

    Songbird productions.

    JagCD

I forgot to add that I reallly like Primal Rage, it's a good home version. The Jag Ads are fun to watch. The other games are fun too. Baldies, Blue Lightning is OK. Space Ace is a pain, Myst is boring but beautiful, Vid Grids is cool, Native demo is great for what it is. I wish they could have completed Soul Star, but it is fun. I'm waiting to get Braindead 13

    JagCD

It is worth it. It is becoming rarer. What will it cost 5 years from now? Battlemorph is good. Dragon's Lair is rather faithful. Hoverstrike is much better than the cartridge. Iron Soldier 2 is great. World Tour Racing, nothing great is an improvement over Checkered Flag. I enjoyed checking out Black Ice White Noise. Then you have the VLM. Get it.
  5. Don't forget to add a certain person who is no better than SS4U,at least when it comes to Battlesphere who gleefully gloats of all his copies so he can network on kiosks he's trying to get. No one attacks him for hoarding. When it comes to that game he is no better.
  6. That doesn't surprise me if true. Both are amazing.
  7. Got an Xbox 360. I am actually not a big video game person, but I always loved the Jag and got a pretty good collection. Anyway, bought an Xbox 360 to keep up with new games that might be interesting. Didn't know it had a light machine. It's pretty awesome. I like playing both the Xbox and Jag light shows. Anyone else have an XBox360 who can comment on it's light machine in comparison to the Jag?

    BattleSphere

Buddybuddie if you are serious, I have only one comment. Wow, are you for real? Because hording that stuff is beyond comprehension. I mean the last person paid $1000 dollars for this game. I mean, an Atari JAguar game being worth that much???

    BattleSphere

So, people spend hundreds of dollars for a game that really doesn't have an ending.By the way there are lots of better things in life than Battlesphere. PATHETIC!!!! Yea go ahead and rip on me for that. Like I care. P.S. Played the game. Ho Hum.
  10. I'm old fashioned and don't have a digital camera. When you pop open the lid to the CD player it's the large grey circle in the center. Some people push the CD's in too hard and it will push the spindle down and cause the CD player to not be able to read the CD. So I popped mine back up with a knife and the CD player worked fine.
  11. I popped it slightly, and my CD started working. I had the same problem you are describing.
  12. did you try to pop the spindle?
  13. There might be nothing wrong with the CD player. I had a similar problem when I got mine. I called the seller and he told me that the circular grey spindle in the middle might be pressed down too far. I used a swiss army knife and carefully popped the spindle up, and my CD player worked fine afterwards.

    Question

I see a lot of projects for upcoming games for the Jaguar. But for someone who only has the regular Jag and CD, can I get any of these new projects-games? If I have to purchase other stuff - I guess I'll be left out. Also on another subject for the hell of it I got Tempest X3 for the PS1 to compare. I prefer Tempest 2000 a lot more. Anyone else feel the same?
  15. I bought a CD player from SS4U. There was a problem with it. I emailed him, and he had me call him. He was actually very helpful- it was the spindle pushed down. He mentioned that there was someone he knew who fixed CD players, so if you need to get a CD player from him, I wouldn't worry.

    Eerievale

If and when this does come out(I'm holding my breath on this one), is it going to be any good? Or after all the hype- is this going to be a big letdown or a great surprise?

    The Jag

It has been 11 years since the Jag died. It still amazes me that there sill is a following. Do you think there is such a following for other dead systems of the day, ie: 3D0, Saturn or N64( I know it came a little later). Also of the 64 bit systems how far short would you say the Jaguar compares to the N64? Last point: Do you think we'll still be talking about the Jaguar 10 years from now and can we say other than the $400+ Battlesphere that we can say the Jaguar will have something to be better quality than the Playstation? In my opinion some Jag games already qualify. But I always wondered if the Jaguar could have handled something like the original Resident Evil.
  18. Went ahead and ordered one. Figured why not, I have the black version and can play that one. I don't collect, but now I can have something that could be considered a collectible and be worth something down the line. If anyone still cares about the Jaguar a few years from now.

    Towers II

I have had this game for awhile, and I decided to play it for a bit finally. I must say, the graphics are a letdown. Doom and AVP are much better. I got bored really quick, is it just me or is this game just not that good? Or do I need to put in alot of hours( which I don't see happening) to see something worthwhile in this game?
  20. No matter the price on a Gorf release, it is worth it. It is going for a great cause. So what if you pay a certain high price. Helping out a greater good is worth it(unlike paying a high price for Battlesphere). Point in case-- the ridiculous rates of Battlesphere. I'll admit, I never played it(would like to but hey if I don't I can easily get on with life). When it recently went on bid, I actually was stupid and put a bid at $400( I'm not rich but I could have bid alot higher) but afterwards I was hoping someone would outbid me for that ridiculous price. Thankfully, I was outbid and I am glad to say I am not someone to pay $455 for a game that can be outdone on anything today for $50). So please release Gorf in whatever form, I will pay the charge in whatever form it comes out- it is for a great cause. And frankly if anyone rips me for my Battlesphere comments- Frankly, I don't care.

    Zero 5

I've tried the smart bombs on the red stars, and nothing happens. I have gotten to the point of destroying everything without having my shields harmed or using the 3 smart bombs. I get towards the end of the mission and destroy the blue stars, and then the red stars come out ,and I get destroyed. I've tried the smart bombs on everything else in the mission and it destroys them. The smart bombs do nothing to the red stars, plus shooting the hell out of them does nothing. What am I doing wrong?

    Zero 5

How do you beat those red stars that come in after the blue stars, I shoot them and nothing happens and then they shoot the living hell out of me.

    Zero 5

Wow were the reviews on this game right. It is HARD. I'm still stuck on mission 1. Just been a couple of days though. One question: regarding the trench mode and hit-pack mode- do you play these modes on later missions? So far mission 1 is only bambam mode.

    BattleSphere

Good luck on getting the game. You'll spend between $400-$800. I think I saw the gold version go for $600 last time around and the regular go for $385. If you can get it, have fun with the game as all I ever hear are great things about the game. Watch out though, there is usually a big bidding war for both versions . Just a little bit too much for me.
