It was a good day for me as well.went to Bullmoose, a local game and music shop here in Maine and picked up a mint, complete Brave Fencer Musashi for $8....
then hit Goodwill
picked up
Grandia II for DC, complete
Time Stalkers for DC, complete.
And hidden inside those games, which I never noticed until I got home, was:
Power Stone 2
Skies of Arcadia, Disc one
Resident Evil, Code Veronica, disc one....
Not bad for a total of $5....
wow rick you are the maine

Few days ago, picked up Yu-Gi-Oh!: Forbidden Memories for PS1, with case and manual, for $1. Also found the complete series of TMNT cartoon VHS releases.Returned to the same store today, and picked up quite a NES haul...
2 NES MAX controllers, 2 grey Zappers, 2 standard controllers, RF switch, power supply, Game Genie
Double Dragon*, Double Dragon II*, (2x) Dr. Mario, Dick Tracy, Skate or Die, Base Wars*, TMNT III: Manhattan Project*, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, Back to the Future, Super Mario/Duck Hunt/Track Meet, SMB2, SMB3, Jurassic Park*, Jackal, RBI Baseball 3*, Karate Kid*, Double Dribble, California Games*, Bubble Bobble*, Ms. Pac-Man (Tengen unlicensed)*, Bart vs. the Space Mutants, Bart vs. the World, Bartman meets Radioactive Man*, Q*bert, Who framed Roger Rabbit*, (2x) Mickey Mousecapade, Adventures in the Magic Kingdom*, (2x) Ninja Gaiden, The Rocketeer, Mega Man 6*, Kung Fu, Krusty's Fun House*, Battle of Olympus*, Darkwing Duck*, Tetris 2, Excitebike, Flintstones: Rescue of Dino & Hoppy*, Friday the 13th*, Galaga*, Batman Returns, Rad Racer*, Adventures of Tom Sawyer*, Anticipation, Castlevania, Bump 'n' Jump, Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout, Bionic Commando, Battletoads*, (2x) The Legend of Zelda (gold cart), Top Gun: The Second Mission, TMNT II: The Arcade Game, Little Nemo: The Dream Master, Pro Wrestling*, Ninja Gaiden II*, R.C. Pro-Am, Rescue Rangers
Bolded titles/accessories included their instruction manual. Titles with a star are ones which I didn't already have. Also got manuals for TMNT, Tetris, GB Mortal Kombat II, The Little Mermaid, Barbie, DuckTales, and SMB/Duck Hunt.
$75 for all. I may already have a few of these titles, but I'm always looking for some duplicates (and extra accessories) to flip with each NES system package I put on eBay. I also filled many holes in my collection (with some that were kinda rare), and got a few games which just don't work on the PowerPak. I'd say today was a pretty good day at the thrifts...
i agree with ghost those are som great finds there buddy
hey ghost did u see my haul?
-
I just got 7 games for 7 bucks no tax! Sounds okay BUT some of the games inc Splatterhouse 2 for the Genesis, Startropics and Punchout for the NES! Splatterhouse 2 is worth like $30 alone lol!where did u get your games at?
try to post pics bro

-
well it's not 'as' thrifty as most finds, even most of my finds, but given that it was on ebay I made out alright. Honestly I wouldn't be so thrilled if I hadn't expected the auction to hit 3 figures. This naturally is a level I wasn't going to come close to bidding up to.$46 shipped:
1. Sonic the Hedgehog
2. Sonic the Hedgehog 2
3. Flashback the quest for identity
4. Shining in the Darkness
5. Shining Force
6. Shining Force 2
7. Championship Pool
8. Spider-man
9. The lost Vikings
10. Mortal Kombat
11. Royal Rumble
12. Phantasy Star 4
(working condition, cart only)
of course the big problem, is that I bought phantasy star 4 (by itself) off of ebay yesterday--so I've double-bought a rather expensive genesis game. one that I'm sure play-n-trade would give me like $4 for. (they're who I usually launder my excess games through to maintain living space)
nice finds there reaperman don't forget to include the shinning force games those games are also worth over 30 bucks alone as well

-

I went to the flea market late yesterday figuring i'd look for some atari games. Mainly for the 2600. Well, i did my usuall trade off of some old xtra vhs tapes. I picked up, Food Fight for the 7800, Starsky and Hutch for the PS2, and X-Men for the genesis. I figured that was about as good as i was going to do for the day. So we continued around looking to see what everybody had. I try to go there every week. I stopped by this one table, because i thought i saw some Playstation games. Once i got there, i realized, they were turbografx cards and cd's. I asked him how much for the games? He said " I have the whole system right here". The games were sitting on top of the unit and i didn't even see it. I asked how much for everything figuring it would be very high. He says "$3". I was like
I said "bag it up". What i end up with is a complete Turbo Duo, with av cables, power brick, and control pad with 13 complete games in cases: Vasteel by Working Designs, Exile by Working Designs, Exile: Wicked Phenomenon by Working Designs, Ys Book I and II, Loom, Alien Crush, Ninja Spirit, Newtopia II, Ys III Wanderers from Ys, Dungeon Master Theron's Quest, and the 3 game disc including Gate of thunder, Bonks Adventure, and Bonks Revenge with all books. I was like "dam!!" I figured i did enough for the day so i left to continue looking before leaving for the day. I ended up coming back around to the same table but planned on passing by since i had already been there. On my way by, i just happened to notice the Duo name on a box. There was actually 2 more pieces i had missed. It was an xtra boxed control pad still sealed, and a boxed Duo Tap. I asked how mush for those and he said $1 each so i got them as well. Below are pics of what i ended up with.
Wow what an amazing deal there bro congrats
