Space invaders never made the switch from black to red, they went from black to silver to red. I have seen this on Sears games, but never on atari made games. Interesting find.

I have seen this on Sears games, but never on an atari made game. Any idea if the sticker underneath says "Space Invaders" ? It's hard to see because your scan has an error in it.

Umm... if you run the ROM and read the scrolling text, then close out stella (or whatever emulator you are using) and stare at your keyboard. You will hallucinate for a short period.
