Maybe a turkey breast would be a good option for you, especially if you prefer the white meat anyway.

Hey, I resemble that remark!

I first misread the title as "Maybe if We Bought Channel F" and expected discussion along the lines of how we could become the next Coleco.
Reality was better.

"So I thought I had a plan to make the ketchup bottle in Lowercase I"
Probably the first time ever that those words were ever combined and arranged in that particular order.

I see. Thanks for the edification.

Ya know, that second switch from the left should really be in the down position for this.

They were chewing a hole big enough to drag garbage through?
Instead of keeping the vermin from chewing their way in, you might consider a version with a "one way" device that lets them in to the can readily, but keeps them from chewing their way out...-

Heh, yeah. I've had it for a couple of years and only took it out of the box to play it once. It's like brand new, CIB. It's not really like me to not use something in the name of preservation. It just doesn't suit me for some reason. It is a better conversation piece than anything else.
I also really need the spare stand and controller with the add-on for an AC adapter. They come in really handy.

Not to be discouraging in any way, but I don't think I'd enjoy playing Kaboom with a joystick so I probably wouldn't buy it for the O2 even though it's one of my favorite Atari 2600 games. The joystick thing might just be me though.

There's software that can take the binary ROM dumps of these and convert them to sound files so you can load them via digital portable media player. MakeWAV I think it's called.

Sorry to hear that you finally had to pronounce it dead. There are other people, some hanging out here at AtariAge, who could probably have picked up the ball where Delicon dropped it. Maybe someday one of them will be looking for a project and contact you about finishing the hardware.
Maybe there's a retro gaming enthusiast engineering firm somewhere that could incorporate the functionality into a future project.

Whatever the future may hold for Chimera, you should know that at least one of the less ambitious of us out here appreciate the effort you put forth and are impressed by the progress that was made.

Because it takes up less space, I picked up a cocktail pinball machine. Well, that and it was $80. Works like a champ after some minor effort and new rubber. They typically don't have the variety in the playfield as full size machine, but they have the added feature of being a flat surface when not being played.

"Prop" = Propeller?
Sounds interesting to me, particularly the NTSC text display driver thingy...and the PWM waveform generator.

I'm impressed that you guys can keep up the efforts on this over such a long period of time.
I hope to own one of these some day.

What's the cart with the (1/8" ?) jack and DB-9 connector?

Congratulations!
But, dude, if her father is that happy to get rid of her, are you sure you know what you're getting into?

There's a hacked 2600 version of Omega Race that uses a standard joystick. If you have a Harmony or other flash cart, you can play it without the Booster Grip or adapter.
A hardware adapter for Omega Race was, I think, my first controller hack.
