  I can't believe they got James Horner to do the music. Or that they got David Carradine for the sequel.

  I haven't researched it, but this was reportedly a Roger Corman production, so they probably recycled James Horner's score from "Battle Beyond The Stars" yet again (Corman reused it several times).
  
  As for David Carradine, he seemed willing to do almost anything in the 80s. Have you ever seen "Future Force" or "Future Zone"? I think he was drunk throughout both of those movies.
