  I've noticed these only last so long anymore. Cheap Chinese components to blame or is it a firmware update thing possibly? They're plugged in all the time and do get warm...

  I hooked up my wired router to a 24h timer so it gets switched off between 2am-4am. So far so good. Previously it'd be fine for months, then crap out and I'd spend days trying to get it up, then it would work for a while, then be out. Very frustrating. So far so good rebooting every night. :/
