The Tim Hortons are leaving the twin cities. I only went once and didn't like the customer service, doing things their way. No, I don't know what a dang "double double" is or whatever.
Yes. I lived in Toronto in 2004-2005 and despite a hortons on every other corner, I loved the coffee, ice caps and maple donuts. Ice caps sometimes gave me brain freeze, of course. I've bben planning to check out the ones in the Twin Cities, but maybe best I didn't.
Bummer! I'd only heard good things in the past, but I'm a diehard Dunkin Donuts fan. They died out then came back to Colorado but not Wyoming, had people camping out when they first opened!
Maybe it's like when Budweiser buys out a small brewery, then cheapens all the recipes, making high alcohol versions they then water down and quality suffers...
