  1. Yep, I went 4K. Didn't need it, but did anyway. At least this TV still has the numeric keypad, coaxial port, composite port & Ethernet. I just hope it does better home integration. $480 wasn't a bad price. Lose the web browser & 1 HDMI port, but it's all good.

      I went 4k 2 years ago. Initially, I was annoyed when it was announced because Bluray was really sailing along, and it wasn't that far removed from winning the HDDVD battle. I really didn't want to upgrade again. But when I bought my house I needed a new setup anyway so I upgraded. 4k is pretty sweet.

      8k TVs are out now - every time I go into Best Buy I cannot believe their wall of new flat panels.
