I never turn on any notifications, ever... if I can help it.  So annoying and unnecessary.

Then you won't know immediately when I respond to your status replies!! BEEEEP!!

*Bloop*  S1500 just posted a new Status Update.  (I read update).  **Laughs**,  I laughed the kind of laugh like when you're flipping through movie channels and one of the characters in a given movie happens to say the title of the movie you just read at the top of the screen...I always find that amusing. ?
