    Randomly decided to play Ikari Warriors 2 via Amazon Games, and it works great on an Xbox controller. Was kicking ass without a rotary controller!

    On the TV show "Eerie, Indiana" you can hear Atari 2600 asteroids, and a kid is playing Stargate arcade in the attract mode.

    Ugh, monitor on my barcade cab died. I just swapped out a monitor from my main system heh.

      The monitor was working for about a second, and then turned itself off. I had a jerry-rigged setup of 2 wires for the power button(to a separate button). But It wouldn't even accept an image form the laptop, so it's done. New monitor in.

    A shout out to the lawn service for my neighbor, who I swear are just revving up their weed wackers to make noise. Nice to have them come by weekly. I was tired of being able to hear myself think.

    Just logged into Peacock, and wow: it's a streaming service consisting of shows I have zero interest watching.

    TI-99/4A emulation shouldn't be this much of a pain. All the dual-file cartridge dumps I have are useless. Nothing supports them.

    Trying to stream one tv show has been a bumpy experience.

      Snowpiercer; I eventually just streamed it on tnt's website, and it screwed up the last 3 minutes. THe "other ways" I found to watch it resulted in stopping at 10 minutes, or not playing at all.

    New Dell Inspiron landed this morning. Cheapest Windows laptop with a 10th gen Intel I could find. It feels much snappier than I expected.

    Okay, here me out. We reboot Noah's Ark, but this time, it's a huge battle carrier with guns and stuff. It will be a biblical Captain Harlock. But he has to battle bad guys to rescue the animals before the big flood.

    Went to the local Gamestop for the first time in at least ten years.  It was actually a pretty good experience.  I don't really play modern games so I don't have much reason to go, but I'm glad the store is there.  The clerk was friendly and helpful, and they had what I needed at a good price.

    I finally got off my ass and started restoring the old PC towers that have been collecting dust around here. They're all multi-core systems with good RAM. I threw a HDD in one and set it up for emulation. I bought 2 500GB HDD for $10 each on eBay. I have 2 more towers to run through and I still have an old video card I upgraded from to put into one of them. They're all Windows 7 machines but who cares? They run emulation well. They'll never have to go online again.

      That's fun to do, especially with all the spare PC hardware I have laying around. Combine it all into some decent computers.

    The ebay prices for Super Cassette Vision consoles & games make you think these things were made out of uranium or something.

      So far, the prices I saw in stores were better than on Ebay, ranging from 80 to 120 bucks. They are over 200+ on ebay so far.

    Drilling new holes for a control panel for a MAME cabinet. I really need to bolt down the drill press so the whole thing doesn't tilt.

      I'm strictly Forstner bits. I had really bad luck with hole saws where it jammed the motor, teeth got gummed up, made a mess. Just wish the Forstner bit I had protrued the center "pilot hole lineup" part was longer.
