High-level emulation - the "bulk power" of emulation.
I know high level programming & illustration. I just type into the computer " Draw a house" and boom: house is drawn.

Midwest Gaming Classic's Facebook just posted a picture of chrisbd.
Small world indeed.
So how's about a special episode of NYPWP? A trip to MGC episode.

& dont forget Soul Asylum.
No, I prefer to forget them on their "runaway train" and would prefer they never come back. Overplayed on the radio.
And there's the reddit Minnesota Karma train passing through.

Looks like there just might be 2 Golden Poddie winners showing up to MGC.

I gotta get off my duff & test out my 2 ColecoVisions & Inty 1 if I want to consider selling them. Time for me to cut back a bit on my collection, as I'm running out of space in my home entertainment center. Really, I don't need 3 CVs. One good one works.

Notable twin cities bands:
Slave Raider - one of the band members showed up to my work. I was the only one at my job to know his musical past(He does IT consulting now). I said some lyrics to their notable single, and his response was "I wrote that"
Dare Force
Husker Du
Blaze - only 5 songs, but really good ones
Lipps Inc - "FunkyTown"
Trip Shakespeare - "Toolmaster of Brainerd"
The Peter Graves Electric Experience - Ok, I made that one up.
Wow, this is the most Minnesotan episode ever. doncha know. grey duck,

The latest episode of Amigo mentions CORGS and Now You're Playing with Podcast. Now that's a name I have not heard in a long time...

Darn, I thought this was a game where you could play as DCI Gene Hunt.

That the guy who tricked people with his Predator pin promise that never came to be?
That's the one. After much waiting, he's finally in court over it, after trying to file for bankruptcy.

1. I liked the Garfunkel & Oates "Sports" song being covered on the Channel F files podcast episode.
2. Constructive criticism for Retro Warriors:
1. Don't have to swear that much
2. The Nintendo Switch isn't retro, let's not devote so much of the episode to it.
3. The main topic of the episode shouldn't be the last 10 minutes of the episode, and that's it. Again, #2
4. Sometimes the jokes go on for a bit too long, where host 1 says x, host 2 says x+1, host 1 tries x+3, and it's 3 minutes later. Flow, people.
So far, the hottest podcast isn't a podcast at all. it's audio recordings of a court case of Kevin of Skit-B pinball finally paying for his crimes. He's playing dumb to the judge and forgetting more than Oliver North.

& did you stop listening, like they said/assumed you did?
I did stop listening for a while. But ever since the winter break, new podcast episodes just about everywhere have slowed down. So I did a quick download on the phone. They do all the relief swearing Phil doesn't do.

So I was searching "bulk power coleco chameleon" for giggles and somehow, some way I discovered yet another retro video game podcast.

You could easily build an NES adapter for the parallel port (DB-25, DB-9, a few wires and diodes), although that would require having a parallel port.
Problem is, parallel ports aren't what they used to be. Microsoft IIRC slimmed down what you could do with it. I remember some guy hookig up a paralel port to a PS2 controller(hooking up the siwtches, etc) to find cheat codes in GTA: SA. With a USB-parallel port adapter, that's not possible.

Listening to the latest episode of Coin Rejects. 2 minutes in, they are mentioning feedback & STILL, to this day, in 2017, are a bit ribbed on the comment on swearing I left many ages ago. Wow. Move on. Heh.

I wonder what an Xbox or Playstation would look like today with Sears branding. That would be hilarious.
Also, rename the games.
Instead of Gran Turismo or Forza, it would be "Auto Racer"

I think I only got RetroArch to work once(all RetroPie aside), on my Android, for just 1 platform on one game. Everything else crashed or didn't see the ROMs for one reason or another. I solved the problem by using anything except RetroArch.

Less than 3 months until MGC. I will be there, got the important hotel room reserved. Looks like I'm going solo until further notice, so no stirrup pants sightings. But that could change. Heh.

Talk about retro emulating retro!

So make a video of someone turning pages of a magazine? The most useful use for YouTube ever. Let's do a "Let's read" of Retro magazine, with crazy voiceover commentary!

That's what bugs me. Why fund a kickstarter/indiegogo for something that's out there already? You can already get a plastic case around a Raspberry Pi. Sure, it doesn't look like a Genesis, but it still works. Just looks like companies are trying to make money with a "me too" product for RetroPie.

Does the hack work with the Famicom version?

Addendy and erat-e:
Missile Command was featured heavily on an episode of Chuck. Chuck has to zip through the game to save the world.

2 worthy video game podcasts
in Gaming Publications and Websites
Posted
I post too much here.
20 years from now, I want a documentary about classic video game podcasting. Niche? Oh definitely. But we've seen the other classic video game docs, and they are great. I want podcasters interviewed. Hell, interview me. It would be beautiful.
