    I'm at work so I can't do a screencap, but has anyone seen the Jumanji(the new one) movie preview? You briefly see a video game console on the A/V cart, and it looks wonderfully retro. Like a Channel F and an Atari 2600 blended together, and turned sideways.

    I'm enjoying the TurboGrafx one so far. I like how there's period-correct music(late 80s) stuffed between segments. Real chill. B+

    Not even 120 Minutes? What's weird is I've seen bleed-over into other stations as well. If you remember from the 80s there was a nationwide metal station called "Z-Rock", and they would play early Heart("Crazy On You"). That's an odd choice for a station that praised Metallica every 12 minutes.

    I'll commit blasphemy here and say I was never a fan of King's X. Thought it was strange their videos were featured on MTV Headbanger's Ball. What next, a Jehtro Tull video on HBB?

    You two are right: It's either a feast or famine with podcast feeds. There can be a week with no new episodes, and then the next day, everyone's releasing an episode. Today's a good example.

    All it's missing is a numeric keypad to truly stay out of touch with modern gaming times. Yes, most game controllers look like the Playstation 1 controller, but for 1 good reason: it worked. Evolution worked. I'm now even more convinced AtariBox will have an S-video port.

    The tradition of playing your music out in public(instead of to yourself w/ earbuds, etc) is immensely irritating. This isn't the days of carrying a boombox over your shoulder in the 80s.

    $100 for a dang hat with speakers? I have a feeling someone in China(if not already) can make something like that, and have it sold at 5 Below for, well, 5 bucks.

    Picked up a new wireless router today. My awful Asus router is needing reboots 3x a week. JUnk

      I hooked up my wired router to a 24h timer so it gets switched off between 2am-4am. So far so good. Previously it'd be fine for months, then crap out and I'd spend days trying to get it up, then it would work for a while, then be out. Very frustrating. So far so good rebooting every night. :/

    At this point, can't we just give Atari, brand name and all to Albert? He's releasing more Atari stuff(homebrew games) than the actual company is.

    So no numeric keypad on the remote? I'm starting to see that go away on newer TVs now(along with the coax port). I assume the A-V in port(that looks like a headphone jack) gets split out to RCA cables, like an iPod video cable in reverse? (also used on many portable gaming rigs)

    Of course I look at the Costco website and see a great TV, 4K, 4 HDMI ports, built-in chromecast. They advertise it being "tuner-free" as a bleepin' feature. Because that coaxial port was such a hassle. Really? REALLY? Maybe this will be opening up a new market for coaxial to HDMI adapters for pre-crash consoles, that aren't pricey.

    I have a 4:1 HDMI switcher I bought which works just fine,and also a nice A/V receiver that gives me some video options. So I split things here & there, giving me a decent spread. I can even milk some inputs out of my VCR. That has RF, AV (2x) in.
